Varsity Columbus South-7 Vinton County-0 VC out gained the Bulldogs in the first 3 quarters but a fumble inside the 10 yard line led to a South touchdown. The only one in the game for either side. VC was without a couple starters tonight. Not sure about South. Good luck to both teams moving forward...

I hate the news about RV having so many injuries and I applaud the young men that continue to show up each week and fight. Meigs wins but I hope RV keeps it close enough to not throw up their hands.

This looks to be a close game much like last season. With all the injury talk around the region, I hope everyone stays healthy and we have a competitive showing from both teams. Alex wins.

How about radio coverage, anyone know? Awesome that it will be on a Thursday and would love to listen on the radio. My best guess would be WJAW if an Athens County station isn't covering it. I haven’t seen another coach promote kids the way he does. I don’t know the man but he believes in those kids and is going way above and beyond for them. Have a look at Twitter! Really impressed with him and I wish all coaches put that much into promoting and getting exposure for kids.
