Re: ... last regular season's "bottom 1/3" of SEO - Who improves? Who gets better this 2024-25 season?

I am going to give the Huntington Huntsmen the "hype" jinx. I predict they climb out of the 50 below this season. With most everything returning and a couple of young players coming back with experience, I like this group to move up into the middle of the SVC. Kellough, Henneberger, Hirsch...

Re: WAVERLY FOOTBALL 2024

Talking over coffee is where you get the true scoop on the gridiron. As the last donut went down, I heard that the offensive line might be green and not very athletic. Obviously just an opinion, but if accurate, not what you want to line up with. Also heard their best o-lineman is coming off of surg...

Re: SVC 2024

From top to bottom, this could very well be the worst season in Scioto Valley Conference history. I am not exaggerating. The bottom half is not very good. Huntington lost a lot. Southeastern struggled last year and will not be greatly improved. Westfall just isn't close to where they once were. Aden...

Re: Best Lineman 2024?

Miami Trace soph. (Jr to be in 2024) Adam Guthrie is a 6'7" offensive tackle with really good feet. Plays basketball which I am sure will attract some interest from coaches that like multi sport athletes. Plays in the FAC

Re: Reserves, freshman and jr high teams.

I am either not understanding the situation or I am missing something, but I have not been to a freshman game the entire season. Do teams still play freshman games? I know Huntington isn't even playing JV games for some reason. I was told kids were allowed to play 6 quarters a night though. Unless t...

Re: Who was "HIM" in the Opening Weekend Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line

West’s Jeffery Bishop (27) and Will Kegley (22) combined for 49 for the Senators in their win over Jackson Kalvin Manson (Huntington) had 28 points and 12 rebounds on Saturday on only 13 for 17 shooting Manson is a beast for Coach Uhrig's Hustlin' Huntsmen. One of the best sophomores in the area. F...

Re: One Team You Would Like to Play

I have always thought it would be fun to bring the MAC south. Matchup who you would like. But, a Saturday lineup of Marion Local, Coldwater & Versailles vs. whomever from the south would be a ticket I would purchase.

Re: WAVERLY TIGER FOOTBALL 2023

Maybe I wasn't clear. It is "rumored'. I have heard this. No, I do not KNOW if this is happening. Hence, asking if anyone knows if this is happening? I guess not. But, as I said, people like to talk. Time will tell though

Re: WAVERLY TIGER FOOTBALL 2023

As rumblings can happen at this time of year, it is "rumored" that a WR prospect is trekking south from the Columbus area. Anyone got any official news or is it still just a "rumor"? If I have heard it, someone in the know has. People like to talk.

Re: Summer Basketball

Just some quick observations from the summer as we wind down June. Call them educated guesses or predictions, as you will: 1. DIVISION III SE DISTRICT WILL BE ATOMIC: Watching some of South Point, North Adams, Minford and Fairland, I am going to enjoy seeing these teams play in 23-24. Noise, but not...

Talked to a ZT parent that said Waverly looks good. I think Waverly has beat ZT twice now. He said they have a lot of size and speed.

Re: Division Changes '23-'24

Not so sure. I think I would rather be D2 in the SE. D3 is deeper in my opinion. Minford, South Point, North Adams and Fairland are not a group I want to play through. But that is just me I guess.

Re: Summer Basketball

Can any ZT fans help me out here? There has to be a story behind it, but I was told ZT lost to Waverly by 30 in a scrimmage. I said this can't be right or there is a simple explanation. Thank you
