Is it safe to say the OVC is a 2/3 team race for the top with Chesapeake (favorites), then Fairland and South Point. Or does anybody think Ironton can make a run at it?

it was a great game South Point never gave up until the end of the game they all play hard. Layne and hanshaw both are very good players and for fairland buchanan is a really good ball player much closer game than i expected.South Point suprised me especially after losing around 7 seniors last year...

I will take Western by 10. Seems like they've been on a tear ever since they won the SOC I championship match-up. Good work and keep representing the SOC I.

SOC II 1. Burg 2. West 3. Minford 4. Waverly 5. Valley 6. Oak Hill Burg the favorite until someone takes it from them. West has the returning talent, but is there a mental block with Burg? Minford will line up and run Pica 20-25x game...not sure who they’ll have at qb. Waverly loses a lot, but Robe...

This will be another exciting matchup between these two teams. No idea who will come out on top, just looking forward to seeing some great basketball to be played in this game.

Based off tournament play alone, I am going with Western by 5 or so. Should be a great game to watch. And I agree that better officiating crews will be seen from here on out.

If Peake can stay out of foul trouble underneath while going for those strips, I think they pull it off by 8 or so

I think the calling of the game will help predict the score. If Fairfield is able to get physical with Valley like the way there were able to with Symmes Valley, then it will be a close game. If they get into a situation where the refs are calling everything, it could be a 20 point win for Valley.

As much as I would love to see all 3 SOC I underdogs come out on top, I believe only 1 will. Western would be my pick if I thought Weber would not be playing for Fed Hock but I am assuming he will dress. I do not see ND pulling the upset but feel like they can make it competitive for 3 quarters, hop...

Seems like a great game for the top two teams in the SOC I. Hopefully both of these teams can make a tourney run. Little closer than I was expecting though. Thought Western would win by 12-15 being at home and make free throws at the end. Love to see this type of competition.
