Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio-Preseason 2024-25
I've seen only 15 teams or so, but my quick commentary is this: --Jackson too high (still tough but not in the top 4) --South Webster too high (need to see how the turmoil plays out) --Minford too low (haven't seen them but the reports are really high on them) --Gallia Academy maybe a little high (w...

Re: Scrimmage, Previews and foundation games
Could this be among the reasons he is not getting significant college scholarship attention at this point (as of 6 weeks ago the last time I thoroughly researched it)?

Re: Scrimmage, Previews and foundation games
Good mid-week 4 team scrimmage set for tomorrow at South Webster @ 10AM ; South Webster, Meigs, Jackson, & Coal Grove . It should be some good physical games for the Jeeps before the season kicks off for them next week at Home on Friday Dec. 6th vs. Green . Anyone going to this scrimmage? Is it...

Re: Wk 10: Marietta (6-3) @ Warren (6-3)
Warriors by two touchdowns. GO BLUE!!! Covered the two touchdowns and then some. What a duo of performances by the Warriors these last two games. Always good to win the league. GO BLUE!! Both teams have had injuries impact games this season. But just wondering how much better Marietta would have be...

Re: Expectations
I believe South Webster has a tremendous amount of pressure on them. Division I basketball players do not come around very often in small communities. South Webster has a Div-I player on its roster. They also have outstanding guard play. Add in the fact that this year there are 7 divisions and not ...

If Marietta wins next week, I believe they’ll win the league. I could be wrong. 4 Way Tie for TSL Head 2 Head now the tiebreaker Warren needs to beat Marietta and Fort to beat Point Fort needs to beat Point and Marietta to beat Warren Marietta need to beat Warren and Point beat Fort Point needs to ...

Re: WK 8: Marietta (5-2) @ Fort Frye (5-2)
Q10 Marietta just cannot seem to get over the hump of 500 despite playing a schedule that is loaded with much smaller schools. It's frustrating and they should be a consistent 8-2 team every year. Maybe they win 1 of the remaining games but based on history, I doubt it. Seems like they are satisfie...

Marietta is bigger Fort Frye has the speed Fort still has some guys out. I have feeling this game comes down to last few mins. Fort 20 Marietta 14 Marietta has guys out too. Why just point out one team? This games was competitive -- no "heads and shoulders above" going on here.

Re: Week 7 - Williamstown WV at Marietta
Marietta was one play away from winning this one -- one stop. Humorous people posting "I knew this would happen or that would happen" of course didn't know. Stuff happens in sports. Fort Frye will be a very difficult task, but its possible the next game could be close as well.

Re: Week 2: Morgan @ Warren
Warren is making a habit of giving away games they should won. I was impressed with how Morgan played vs Marietta. Warren has to make some adjustments defensively, or this physical morgan team is going to run all over them. I want to pick Warren to win this one, but I just can't trust them at this ...

Re: Marietta v Morgan
Marietta was lucky to get out of MoCo with a win tonight. 3 (4 if counting last drive) empty redzone trips and plenty of costly penalties. Great to start the season with a win, but a lot to improve on if this is going to be a successful season. I don't disagree with your statement, except saying &q...

Re: PG's Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line 2024-25 :
Who are some of the "new" / "incoming" PGs in SEOhio for the 2024-25 season? as I posted we lost some excellent PGs - Who's taking their place as the floor leader? I think you'll see junior Trey Hawkins primarily handling PG duties at Marietta. ... not Seth Britton ? Britton see...

Re: 2024-2025 Schedule/Preseason Talk
Figured it was never too early to talk basketball. Looks like Warren has 18 games scheduled so far with an additional 4 more anticipated. Williamstown, Meigs, Monroe Central, and Minford are but some of the new opponents. https://go.dragonflyathletics.com/sites/OHSAA/YNLJ8H/about?sport=MBB&leve...

New Lex was not there at Marietta College. The better teams in the pool I mostly saw besides Tri Valley included Springfield, Franklin Monroe and Marietta. How did Marietta look without the 6-8 Kendall ? Britton/Wittekind/Knighten/Jones/Hawkins/ Riley/Plaugher (sp) should be very very good ... Knig...
