Re: Who will be the next Waverly head coach?
First, Waverly is more in my area so I’m a little more interested in their sports. I’m sure Coach Robertson is interested in the job because they have talent coming up through the ranks. But I would be surprised if Waverly administration would consider him a realistic candidate. Most people remembe...

Re: Who will be the next Waverly head coach?
I hope it is someone horrible and Alexander goes to Eastern where he belongs… There I said it, you sissies! Why does Alexander belong deserve to go to Eastern?? Granted it’d be a great move for the kid with what Eastern positions eastern lost be a perfect fit and win way more games in a year there ...

Re: 2025 SOC II
Well with 2024 in the books. What do we think of 2025 for the SOC II. In no particular order… -Wheelersburg, it’s their conference until someone beats them. -West, played well, expect them to improve. -Northwest, was 2024 the mountain top or do they have staying power to be consistent? -Oak Hill, c...

Re: 2025 SOC II
Not sure how you say they will improve May be to big of a fan to make a comment like that. Rumor has it kids are looking to transfer out. You just can't loose everyone and expect to be good These new kids will have to adapt to playing varsity football and that will take time. We all know Waverly fan...

Great run by the tigers I watched this one on tv and the announcers knew a lot about football. I really enjoyed listening to them. It's a shame that the play by play on here thinks it's ok to shame kids and make comments that are uncalled for Great year by Alexander and Pollard,Kelly , Cody, Sparks,...

Re: Crowd Conduct
For the most part the games I've been to have been pretty mild mannered by the fans, obviously a call here or there where ppl might boo or question it but never really went any further in terms of affecting the rest of the game. At the same time here recently heard of an official talking about how ...

Basketball is really down I've watched every Waverly game. They are young but struggle. This game against burg however I believe they win that next year. Freshman is a good player for Waverly other than that only the Hurt boy is playing well. But still was a good game to be at. I enjoyed it and thou...

Re: SOSA GAME OF THE WEEK SOUTHEASTERN @ WAVERLY
Got to catch this game after the Eastern game and walked away very impressed with freshman Alexander. This team will go as he goes. He’s going to have to do most of the scoring or create the scoring for his teammates. Couldn't agree more Alexander looked good. Although he needs to get handle on all...

Re: Week 9: Waverly ( 5-3) ( (3-2) vs. Northwest (4-4) (1-3)
I think they’ll be closer to more of a balanced attack next year, still favoring the passing game a little more than the running game. You’ll have a good QB who can pass and run. And honestly, their weapons on the outside will be solid considering what they are losing after this year. And I believe...

Re: Week 9: (7-1) Paint Valley @ (7-1) Unioto
Wow, PV has 17 seniors and you’re telling me this is the product they put on the field. Unfortunately they beat Robertson into the ground over the last 2-3 years and it finally caught up with them and obviously no offensive concept without him. Just WOW, if it wasn’t this year it wasn’t happening a...

Re: Week 9: Waverly ( 5-3) ( (3-2) vs. Northwest (4-4) (1-3)
Get what you’re trying to say but when you talk about a Shoemaker Waverly had one of their most complete teams so they could do whatever. You mention Hurd and saying they’ve never been that running team, I’m sorry but when you have a young man come through and break the career rushing record I have...

Re: Wk 9: Waverly (5-3) (3-2) vs. Northwest (4-4) (1-3)
Waverly coaching is not the best. But they can not make the tackles for the kids. The coaches wives and how they yell curse words in crowds with kids needs addressed by the waverly board of education. If they ever showed up to support the kids.

Re: Week 9: Waverly ( 5-3) ( (3-2) vs. Northwest (4-4) (1-3)
I agree Waverly's defense has trouble stopping the run. On the offensive side however, even in the of years with Shoemaker or Hurd Waverly has never been a running team. It's not the offense identity at Waverly and the Tigers had 118 yardss rushing vs Burg. Get what you’re trying to say but when yo...

Beaver will win this easy. They are a small school playing with a-lot of kids from Waverly. Prob nice playing for coaching staff that encourage kids instead of running them down all the time.

Ryan tore acl and who ever puts Hobbs on here must be related. Never has got playing time at any level. Great young man but not a basketball player.
The Alexander boy is going to be special. Waverly gets 12-14 wins this year.
