Losses were to Colonel Crawford (by 1 point) a top ten D6 team who will go undefeated and an outstanding Barnesville squad who hammered the Pilots and will also go undefeated in the regular season. Pilots will be in the mix to win D7 Region 27.

As a River grad I would love to see the Pilots win this game. However they will be missing a number of very talented football players from last year’s team who have graduated. River won 2-A in the OVAC. Beat Salineville Southern by+30 and Wheeling Central by 11 today. Most likely will see Hiland in the District final. Hiland as always is very good but not the juggernaut they have been in the past.

It is very simple, currently it is ML and Kirtland and everyone else on D6. FF was fortunate to beat Bellaire last week.

Would very much like to see Bellaire win this game but it is not going to happen. This is the weakest of the DVI regions and FF is head and shoulders above everyone else. Bellaire has two good wins, Cambridge and NY. FF won’t win by 30+ like the first time but it will be a comfortable win.

River has had an outstanding season. They have improved substantially as the season has progressed. I would love to see them win this matchup but I don’t see it happening. NC - 35 Pilots - 21.

Fortdawg, you can’t be serious. Miller won three games, two against teams who went O-fer. They don’t deserve congratulations because they didn’t accomplish anything. As to the popularity of 16 teams per region I believe you will find there are more people who oppose it than support it.

West Holmes is an outstanding team but they have not played anyone who has the number of athletes that Glenville has. Glenville wins this game by 7+.

River will be able to name the score in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Miller is a bad football team who is not deserving of making the playoffs.

There are only five playoff worthy teams in the region. NC will win this region beating either River or Caldwell handily in the final. Waterford and Eastern are capable of pulling an upset but it is not likely. The other eleven teams are in for some serious arse whippings.

Two very bad teams. Either will be one and done in the playoffs losing with a running clock.
