Re: Washington Court House Football
I have met they guy, has some great plans for the program. I promise this much, discipline will no longer be an issue at Washington. He has already put his foot down with the players and the parents. Weight room has been full all week. He has made it clear that while he cant really force you into c...

Re: Washington Court House Football
Blue lion faithful fill me in on some good news please!! are we headed in the right direction? Coworker of mine has a son that will be a sophomore. Said that weight room numbers have been around 30 all week. Much better than the 5-8 that had supposedly been going. I have met they guy, has some grea...

Re: Washington Court House Football
That is much better for sure. Looking at their schedule next season, they don't have an easy game. Especially opening up with London, Western Brown, and Marion Franklin team that has a high profile D-1 player. That is just weeks one, two, and three. Then their league play with Jackson, Chillicothe,...

Re: FAC 2023
Wearing helmets in May? I believe he and his staff didn't pass out equipment until June 1st as he did every year at WCH. Plus, AD Phipps was very good about stopping out at practice or following up with football. The Superintendent I heard was even stopping out at practices a few times. A lot of sc...

Re: SVC 2023
People have to realize that it is hard to find coaches today. They don't want to put up with the helicopter parents and the kids of today. 1. 7-0 Zane Trace Gold ball winners, I don't care if this team did not have a coach they would probably still win the league. Return a lot of production from la...

Re: FAC 2023
If I recall WCH was wearing helmets last May anyways "If you aint cheating you aint trying" LOL If that was the case... I am sure they were not the only one's in Ohio doing so. However most Athletic directors and administrators make a point to make it out to practice for a small period of...
Re: FAC 2023
Has anyone heard how Miami Trace, Chillicothe, or Jackson's offseason has been going? Also with the new rule of being able to start helmeted practices on May 15th I wonder how many FAC schools will take advantage of that.
Re: FAC 2023
Doesn't seem good nor bad thus far, my son attends weight lifting sessions and says they have anywhere from 5-8 kids working out. Coach Everson does not attend weight lifting sessions. They had a meet and greet with coach Everson and passed out a summer schedule. His expectations seem high. (which a...
Re: FAC 2023
1. Chillicothe 2. Jackson 3. MT 4. Greenfield 5. WCH 6. Hillsboro Chilli returns a lot of experience and seem to be the only ones in the league that are not scared of Jackson. I believe Galloway and Netters lead the way for Coach Barts first league title. Prediction 8-2 5-0 Jackson is Jackson. Howev...
Re: SVC 2023
Guys I just post what I hear I don’t have any connections at either school Most coaches need a teaching job. Football coaches may make $6,000 in our area while the teaching job pays $60,000+. I know a lot of people do not realize that. Zane Trace does have some decent candidates, but teaching jobs ...

Re: Washington Court House Football
10-40 is definitely not impressive as a HC. However you never know the variables of a situation. What is the staff looking like? I wonder if Everson will bring a staff from columbus or try to hire within. I know the blue lions lost a large senior class but what is the talent looking like for next ye...

Re: Washington Court House Football
A coach/teacher combo gives the HC a chance to recruit the hallways and build relationships inside the school. It also gives the coach the opportunity to stay on top of grades. I heard one of the sons of Williamson was groomed to take over program after his departure, what happened to that??? I do n...

Re: Washington Court House Football
I am not sure anyone from the inside will be qualified for this job. I believe the administration will look outside the program for a potential candidate. With as much talent and success as CH has had in the past I believe the job will be very attractive to some around the area. I just know whoever ...

Re: Round 2 Washington @ Sheridan
Where's the Defense CH supposedly had the first half of the year? Not sure if the injury bug struck or what happened. Hard to pick against Sheridan in this one but hoping CH can pull it out. They need Ray Lewis to come in and get them fired up to play some inspired football. I will say if they can ...

Re: WK8 Chillicothe - Washington FAC BIG GAME
Improved? Saw taunting last week, a couple more undisciplined acts. True undiscipline will pop back up in a tight game. Must not have seen Greenfield during that game last week huh? Sure there was taunting but it was both ways. There's a difference between being undisciplined and having a swagger/e...
