Re: Burg vs West
I feel horrible for my guys last night and this morning. The mental beating they will take this morning is unbearable, Trust me I’ve been part of it. It’s always the players fault here at West and it’s sickening! Coaches never take ownership of anything. They will lose this team once again I honest...

Re: Wk 10 Minford (1-8) @ Valley (2-7)
I think Valley has gotten a bad rap this year, and been very unlucky. I know these things can go different ways, but t hey are 8 points from being second place in the league . I would bet with the injuries they have had, that most teams would have struggled just the same when losing two or three of...

Re: WK9: Grandview Heights @ Valley
Valley couldn’t or didn’t want to tackle 0 last night. He is a heck of a player. The injuries have just really hurt Valley’s run defense. I am impressed with how much Waughtel has improved at QB but Valley just doesn’t have enough against their schedule. They’ve competed all year but the schedule an...

Re: WK9: Grandview Heights @ Valley
Coach Crabtree said on the radio show a few weeks back that he had MCL surgery and is out for the year. He got hurt against Piketon and didn’t play much but I believe the knee injury happened against Waverly in week 4. His mom had put pictures of it on Facebook.

Re: Week 9: (1-7) Minford @ (4-4) Wheelersburg
This site is toxic about 95% of the time. It is almost always grown me arguing like 10 year olds and getting their kicks over high school kids. Some people are supportive and feel pride about their communities, the rest are ripping coaches and kids all over the place. Trolls left and right! I unders...

Re: WK9: Grandview Heights @ Valley
Said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t think some of you watch the same game as me. Valley had two possessions in the second half. They ran the same stuff that built the lead. The only thing that stopped them was a 3rd down penalty and a 3rd down drop on those possessions. The running out of ...

Re: Valley (1-6) @ Oak Hill (1-6)
I stayed home and watched the stream tonight, which I found annoying. 😆 Good to see Valley not mess around with this one. Oak Hill had played a few teams tough early in the season but Valley had no trouble on either side of the ball. Waughtel gets better each week after a rough start to the season. ...

Re: Valley (1-6) @ Oak Hill (1-6)
Listening to the coaches show Saturday and it sounds like the balance in the offense has come from Waughtel getting more comfortable. He struggled against Piketon and Coal Grove but has been good since. Coach acted like it took a bit for him to transition from playing WR. Valley should win this one ...

Re: Week 7: Valley (1-5) @ Portsmouth West (4-2)
Im glad I didn't go this week and went to Portsmouth instead. Now cue the rhetoric of Great coaches Great play calls Great adjustment we are small school stay the course t blah blah blah. A buddy did say the kids played hard which is great. They will get their 2nd win next week and should be Minfor...

Re: Week 7: Valley (1-5) @ Portsmouth West (4-2)
Man the tackling killed Valley on the last drive. That team has lost two key members of its defense and they keep fighting. Just a heartbreaking loss. Valley did so much right, they just didn’t tackle on the final drive.

Re: Week 7: Valley (1-5) @ Portsmouth West (4-2)
Could see this game going either way, but as cg20 pointed out above, Valley seems like a different team at home vs on the road. Would’ve expected to see a Parker v McNeil matchup a few weeks back, but Bishop v Aaron not too much of a drop off! After seeing West, Valley, Waverly and Northwest this s...

Re: Northwest at Valley
I just listened to the coaches show and the “terrible” play call had more to it than you realize. Coach said their RB was hurt and not in the game and the QB was supposed to run or throw it away. Keyboard coaches don’t always know what they think they know. Listening to Nolan on Saturday’s is always...

Re: Northwest at Valley
Easier than Minford and Oak Hill? Northwest is a physical and tough team. And I didn’t agree then and I do not agree now, this offense is not any different than it was early in the year. They were run first the entire season. Maybe they have got better at it?

Re: Northwest at Valley
The loss of McNeil has been big without a doubt. This team isn’t two weeks removed from being a bad penalty from beating Waverly. They were tied with Burg after a quarter and played their worst quarter of the season in the second against the best team they have faced. Northwest is a tough team and i...

Re: Northwest at Valley
Valley by a field goal I do not know, but does muletown have a capable kicker? Seems like they usually have a soccer kid that is at least adequate. Not muletown, Valley. Was thinking about the NW vs muletown game last week. Whats Valley's kick personnel look like? Valley has probably the best kicke...

Re: Northwest at Valley
I have watched almost every Valley game and have seen NW one time. This will be a very good game, IMO. NW is physical and Runyon can really play. Valley has a more diverse attack in the run game but both teams are run first, even though some posters believe the opposite. Valley has been killed by pe...

Re: WK:5 (0-4) Valley @ (1-3) Wheelersburg
I thought the punt snap hurt as did not getting that play on the push. The loss of McNeil was big tonight in my opinion. But there wasn’t anything that was making a difference in the big picture of that game. Burg was able to handle Valley’s line better than I expected. Valley’s schedule turns the r...
