Fairland by as many as they want. Notre Dame needs to get out of the SOC1 and challenge themselves a little. Their conference schedule is very weak . It's the worst small school conference in the state in all sports.

And the keyboard bandits on this site had West picked to finish next to last in the conference. lol

Can Ironton win without kids from other schools? My answer is no.

Sounds like the honeymoon is over in Ironton. A lot of the parents aren't real happy right now. I heard that some are upset that kids with no real ties to the community are coming in and taking playing time away from the kids who've dedicated their whole lives to Ironton football.

They can't beat good teams. They have above average talent with below average coaching. That's why they get dominated against teams with equal talent

Portsmouth would make more sense in the SOC than Ironton.

A lot of schools are not allowing their players to attend this. They know the truth as to why they are holding these camps.

Probably got a few more new recruits from other schools .. the coach can't develop talent, therefore he has to steal it from other schools.

West is a very good team.

When did they switch to two SOC's? Pretty sure Oak Hill made it three time when it was split, didn't they? You are probably right. I will edit that out. Still a huge game between these two schools. I guess probably first time two SOC II schools have faced each other in the regional finals in girls ...

Congratulations to the Lady Senators on their first ever district championship. I was impressed with how well they played as a team in their come from behind victory over Portsmouth in the championship game. This a team is as mentally tough as any team I've ever seen and they play as hard as any tea...

Coach Howell has done an excellent job with this group of girls. He has brought out the best of each and every player on the team. I look for them to make a nice tournament run.
