I hope them Jeeps win. Is Nerm still coaching them? I heard Fenton Taylor has taken over so we were all wondering. Howie has told stories about him beating Nerms teams but said he’s never coached against Fenton. Said he thought FT was a football coach back in the day.

This is not the River Valley from Gallia county and tvc. I’m sure them boys and coaches are proud of where they’re from and they will carry the flag proudly for the TVC and the area. Caledonia River Valley 23-2 GO Raiders! Do us proud and represent TVC. Last TVC team standing if I’m not mistaken.

“Howie’s Nest” in Reedsville and “The Howie Dome” in Glouster. I believe both have been officially named and he has been the most successful coach at both schools and it’s not even close. Is Howie the only coach to have gym’s at two different schools named after him?

In the last few decades Howie had total control over the refs but when he was at Southern he said he got a lot of help from the fans. In those days the refs knew better than to make a bad call against them or they’d have to answer to the boys sitting down in front.
