Always keep in the back of your mind that it’s the guy who left who’s to blame. He wasn’t fired. He left! He saw greener grass on the other side of the fence. Time to start blaming the guy who everyone thought walked on water.

Re: Warren Coaching Job

:) Couldn’t even give Kupfner a respect call to tell him he didn’t get the job. I heard the same thing..he had to contact them. They told him they are going in a different direction Yeah. Let’s go get an old guy who hasn’t done much instead of a young guy who’s got things to prove and lives locally....

Re: Logan makes it official; Peyton is the new Head Coach

Logan made it official on Monday with the board approval of Jimmy Peyton as their new HC. Peyton will look to restore a once proud and dominate program back to what it once was for a fan base that is passionate and ready for a winner again. Experience APRIL 2022-CURRENT Head Coach & Assistant A...

Re: Warren Coaching Job

Or, just maybe, you have no idea what you’re talking about and have a weird obsession with a coach who isn’t here anymore. I’ll lean toward that. Did he overthink Dan Day or Matt Kimes? One of whom is coaching in arguably the best D2 league in the country, and the other is the head coach at the mos...

Re: Warren Coaching Job

Warren Football doesn’t exactly have the winning tradition pedigree for there to be a pool of football genius alumni living in the community. The memory of winless seasons should still be fresh for many— Payton ruffled some feathers and Kimes was also short-lived, but their combined short tenures a...

Re: Warren Coaching Job

Sure, let’s not trust the judgment of a guy who, in all honestly, should be working at the college level and is hilariously overqualified to be a high school AD to pick a coach. You didn’t like Jimmy, we get that, and that’s fine you have that opinion. On the other hand, a lot of people did like hi...

Re: Warren Coaching Job

Trust in Steve Harold to get this right. I believe he will. GO BLUE Isn’t Steve who hired Peyton? Wouldn’t put too much trust in him. Peyton has bounced around more than kids in the college transfer portal. Better let someone else pick your next coach. Sure, let’s not trust the judgment of a guy wh...

Re: Warren Coaching Job

So if they transfer this spring it affects them 2025 football season ?? Not track or baseball this spring??? Rock coach made it pretty clear. Not sure how much of that isn’t black and white. If a player transfers and doesn't physically move into the school district, they are only eligible to play the first 5 games that season. OHSAA is animate on their rules. Re: Warren Football 2024

Word from a reliable source is that Jimmy Peyton is leaving Warren and going to Logan. Heard the same thing....unfortunate. Unfortunate for what? Warren should be fortunate he’s leaving. Ran off a lot of good people and players in his 3 years. Maybe some of the talent he held back and discouraged f...

Re: Top Coaches for Top Job

He'd fit right in at Marietta imo. He’d fit in even better at Warren. Imagine how good they could be with a D1 guy on that staff. Imagine posting what you just said. Pure drivel. I said what I said. He’d put that staff over the top. Best team in Washington County and add a D1 guy? Lights out! There...

Re: Top Coaches for Top Job

If that’s the case, Marietta must not have gotten many applicants. I don’t know Jimmy Bell personally and certainly don’t know the entire circumstances he saw at Belpre, but they were among the worst teams in the state during his short tenure with points scored/allowed. I know being a former Buckey...
