Is there a chance to get the result of some of the girls' wrestling tournament on here like they do for the boys'?

I know they had wrestling in gym class when I live in Illinois. I am pretty sure they don't have wrestling in ohio gym classes now. Obviously, that would count for this.

There is an offseason program but for now it is the team or those that can make it hitting the weight room. Many of the football players do winter sports.

I know RV has a JV team.

I hope so but it is used as a recruiting chip. Wrestling coaches tell them hey do you want to sit the bench the whole time or do you want to go out there and make an impact and play every time.

I went to the RV vs Trimble game as my kids play on RV. Really hope things improve for next season. Not all the kids quit on this team. It sucked they had so many injuries. Hoping for better things next season.

I guess Wellston wasn’t as good as some people thought when they had a hot start. I will say they beat the teams they were suppose to beat but when it came to teams w/ a winning record they fell flat. They are much improved though from last season.

My sophomore year (‘95) my Alma mater Roxana defeated Jerseyville on a last second touchdown. This was all in Illinois. Jerseyville. My school was 0-5 & jerseyville was 5-0.

Why do I feel like there is no real discussion of GA changing conferences it’s just someone wanting GA to win every conference title in every sport? I can tell you for sure no one in Gallia County is talking about GA joining the TVC.

The plus to this move would mean that GA would have to wrestle against RV. I know this is mostly football but the RV vs GA rivalry would make a lot of people in Gallia County excited. I personally don’t see it happening at this point. I think GA would see it as a step down to be in the TVC.
