Re: TVC Hocking - Ohio Predicions 2025
Hard for me to put any weight into someone's "predicion", when they can't even spell the word prediction. That out of the way. The "Rock", aka Rocky Brunty, is back in charge of the Lancer baseball program. May take a few years, but they will be knocking on the door of a TVC cham...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
What’s the future of sports at MC? Are we slowly turning into a basketball school? We’ve got a great young coach that is building a great program. To win on the state level in football you have to have 60 kids completely bought in and focused in the weight room, during the summer, and obviously dur...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
Steely, that's a good story. Local papers here missed the mark. Agree. At least WTOV-TV did a great job of covering the game, and frankly MC's entire run through the tournament. The Intelligencer, The Times Leader, and the Marietta Times all used to do a great job of covering HS sports, but not so ...

Re: Boys State Championship Games
They were the same way in the girls for Fort Loramie vs Waterford. Regardless, MC played stellar D today and should have been goo oven equal respect. With this, plus how he called today, that means he’s probably a MAC guy. I thought the same about his Waterford call. It wasn't the worst homer job I...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
First state boys basketball championship for the upper Ohio Valley since 1943. Yorkville HS was the last state champion from this part of the state. Hard to believe that Havlicek didn't win one at Bridgeport.

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
Hope no one falls off the stage at the high school tonight Steely. If you know what I mean? ;) :o  You made me LOL with that one. I'm afraid those days are over. The old high school will most likely be demolished sometime this year. Spent four of the best years of my life there in that buildin...

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
not to mention holding 10,000 more people then what they are used to. i have to wonder if a 13,000 seat arena will be big enough for them after all the complaining about the size of the gym they were playing in. having said that GOOD LUCK and congrats on a great run. Gee, I just went over to the Mi...

Re: Division VII State Championship Waterford vs Fort Loramie
Great game and congrats to Waterford, can't speak for the other Championship games but the camera/production work was horrible, constantly cutting away from the game and numerous graphics were wrong. I watched the Columbus Grove/Rootstown final and there were no issues with the production/camera wo...

Great win for the Wildcats. Fort Laramie came as advertised, it was a heavy weight boxing match. So nice to have two girls state champions from SEO! Congratulations to Coach Close and the Wildcats!

Re: State Semifinals: Fort Frye vs. Rootstown
Great season for the Cadets. Watched the final today, Columbus Grove beat Rootstown 65-46. Grove is an entirely different animal, their defense was just outstanding, stifling anything Rootstown tried. Grove was long and athletic, jumped out to a believe 19-2 lead and never looked back. Biggest lead...

From this point on, you have to pay $9.99 to watch via streaming, through OHSAA.TV, or Spectrum News 1 App.

Re: Monroe Central 24-25
I’d hate for OhioTraveller to have taken in a Woodsfield/Beallsville football game back in the day. Or Martins Ferry/Bellaire. Or Steubenville versus anybody. I didn’t hear anything bad. Yes the fans booed bad calls. Nothing I heard was directed at the Kirtland kids (or I would have intervened). Li...
