Re: Gallia Academy Bluedevils 2022

I heard about GA hiring Jimmy Carter as their new coach. Think he will nutt up and play us? I think GA would be a great warmup of our schedule.

Re: TVC 2022

Of course TTOTH is the favorite in the Hocking, per usual. As for the Ohio, yes NY has to be favored, but VC could challenge as the game between those two is always competitive. I could see Wellston making some noise too if the new coach can keep the players they have and can coach a little. I don't...

Re: Divison III and IV All-Ohio Teams

I don't want to punch down on kids in this thread. I just wanted to see what kids maybe deserved more love and we could give them some recognition, not hate on 15-18 year olds that "got too much". OH, the trusty, 'hating on kids" comment. Yeah, no one is hating on any "kid."...

https://www.ohsaa.org/news-media/articles/division-iii-and-iv-boys-basketball-all-ohio-teams-announced-11 Congratulations to all the area hoopers! Do you find any players that weren't given the respect they may be should've gotten? I think my biggest total omission is Bryce Stuart from Valley. Didn...

Portsmouth has to be the Ribber. But you got the Pizza Crossing right for Logan and Jacks is not bad either.

Re: Western vs Hiland REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Western had a great season. But hopefully this is a reality check for all those Thimble fans who predicted Howdee was going to take them to the state tournament and shows them how far off they really are. Yeah because Western spanked Howdy and then got housed by Hiland, who then got their a...

I have heard a few of the LCL teams have pretty good QB's returning. Better get the alumni on the horn. :o

Re: JACKSON IRONMEN FOOTBALL 2022

Money. Same reason Jackson and Wellston played for all of those years. Jackson doesn’t even charge for its scrimmages. Why would people pack the stadium to see a glorified practice? No one plays to win those things . I like the Ashland and Bellbrooke scrimmages. VC and Jackson don’t like each other...

Pat. Thank you! You have stated the most true statement on this forum in a very long time. Now, you Einsteins, if you go back to the second page on this forum you will see that I said the following: First, and foremost, I never said anyone WAS NOT deserving. In my humble opinion, Grinstead is a gre...

Re: Kimes leaving Warren for Parkersburg??

Anyone hearing anything in the rumor mill about who the Warriors might go get? Any ideas? Saw on OHSAA job posting that the deadline for applications is March 11. Also noteworthy is that the Assistant AD job is posted. In theory, that can expand the applicant pool with an attractive overall hiring ...

Will they take a look at the Belpre coach? I mean, he did play at tOSU, right?

Re: Should the TVC be worried about the new TSL?

I never would have thought the TVC would have to worry but recently teams have been dropping out quite a bit. Or have been ran out. This new league might be cause for some concern. Time will tell.

Re: WK 8: Caldwell (4-3) @ Fort Frye (6-1)

If you can still practice why can’t you play? Trying to keep that playoff divisor low? It’s a shame Fort players might not get homecoming because of this. I'm being told 5 players and 2 coaches have covid I just talked to the person in the know. OL coach and the entire OL quarantined. Well if it wa...

Re: Trimble (4-2, 2-0) @ Belpre (2-5, 1-1)

“YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE WITH”…this is advice my coach always gave us as he wanted us to stay away from the wrong people and their influence. This is the Belpre problem. Wrong coach selection by the Board. Big M is the mess. Agreed sir! It's time for Big M to go. Not only was this a bad hire but look a...

My goodness dude. Get over yourself. VC is plays nobody. They ain’t even beat anybody with a winning record yet. Trimble didn’t “dodge” anybody. Re: Coal Grove vs Ironton - Traveling Trophy

If I were from Coal Grove I would want it to be a huge hunk of coal. That would be a pain in the asst for Ironton to find a permanent location for it in their high school building, as that is where it would reside. Maybe buy a tiny stuffed tiger to sit on top of it to get Ironton to go along with th...
