Re: New OHSAA Division Breakdowns
It looks like D3 Southeast has Marietta Sheridan Warren Athens Miami Trace Chillicothe I could be missing a few but those were the ones that stood out to me just quickly scanning. I wonder how far west they will bring teams from? Teams like Wilmington, Western Brown, Batavia, Goshen, etc. They will...

Re: Regional Championship THE South Webster Jeeps vs Berlin Hiland
I would give the edge to SW as a slight favorite. Hiland and SW both play in a great league that allows them to be challenged vs. bigger schools, Hiland vs. Garaway, Indian Valley, Sandy Valley etc, and SW vs. Minford, Wheelersburg, etc. Barn Burner!

Re: Down on Burg
Wheelersburg's pedigree results in the expectations. There are not to many places south of Columbus or West of Batavia that a 3-4 loss season including a playoff run is a a failure, but at Wheelersburg the standard is championships. (Btw, I am not a Burg fan)

Re: Paint Valley Coaching Change
Lakiem is a young coach, spent years under Robertson at Waverly before getting the job at Eastern Pike where he did a good job considering the hand he was dealt, but was only given two years. I think he’ll do fine.

Doubt they would just kick the current successful coach to the curve, especially after Hit the road Howie left once already.

Re: Portsmouth lady Trojans
Seems like a really stupid rumor honestly. Why would any girl decide to leave their current school in late March? There’s like 7 weeks of school left. Yeah I’ll just transfer to a new school to finish out the final 7 weeks of the school year. That’s something that would happen at the conclusion of ...

Re: Waverly Basketball - Head Coach
If Arey applied, I think he's the best choice, he will work hard K-12 and leaves no stone unturned in running his program.

Howie still has those 2 timeouts in his pocket from the Regional Semi vs. Africentric too, when he was up 5 with a minute left.

For some reason, Maysville picked to go into the District that will face the Central in the Regional Semi’s. So, I like the the chances for the winner of the SE to at least get to the Elite 8. I obviously don’t know the thought process of Maysville but maybe they wanted a week to prepare for the ce...

Re: Pre Season top 10
1. Ironton - outstanding transfer class this year , couple that with a great off season workout program makes the Tigers the top of the class. 2. Fort Frye - state title seems to be close for this program. 3. Vinton County- new coach had brought new excitement, lots of new players makes them a lock...
