Re: How did you come up with your user names?
I haven't been on here for years but once I seen this topic I wanted to respond. I was always standing on the sidelines watching practices so I thought to myself, i'm standing out of bounds so why not let that become my user name.

Re: Waverly vs Eastern Pike.
No matter whose fault it is, Barrick tries to coach through intimidation and he will push that envelope as far as he can. Truth be told, he should have had a lot more T's called on him during his career.

Re: West (6-2) vs Wheeling Central Catholic (7-0)
I believe it all boils down to if West can control the line of scrimmage. If so, they can chew the clock up with their ball control offense and on the defensive side they can create a lot of 3 an outs for their opponent. If Wheeling Central is as fast as everyone says, it could be a long afternoon f...

Re: BEST YOUNG COACHES?
BBfan40, I wouldn't say he is shy. He is just trying to be an example for his kids. Its better to keep your head in the game and stay focused. I've seen him question calls but, as he has told me, most of the time that does nothing more than alienate the official against your team in the long run. It...

Re: Wk 4 (3-0)Portsmouth West @ (2-1) Wellston
Not to change the subject but, i was at the JV game last night and it was a good game but, played on the junior high field. Why? These kids are in high school and should be allowed to play on the high school field. Kinda of shows what you think of your kids coming up. Maybe i'm missing something but...

Re: 2017 Portsmouth West Senators
The assistant coaches for the team this year are Cameron Hoover, Blaike Smith, Dan McDavid, and Todd Gilliland. This is Gilliland's first year with the team, the other 3 have been there for a couple of years.

Re: Minford 8th grade vs West 8th grade
Probably one of the best Jr. High football games i've ever watched. It definitely was the most physical game i ever watched.
My hats off to both teams. West moves on to Waverly next week.

Re: West Jr High
The new coach's name is Cameron Hoover and he will be teaching in the middle school this coming year. His assistants are Shane Hatfield and Chris Prater. Judging from the first week of practice, its looks like everything is going fine. There seems to be good numbers out for both the 7th and 8th grad...

Hey tiger24, looks like your tigers played a pretty good game tonight. My pirates didn't fair so well tonight. Waverly is definitely headed in the right direction after a strong showing in your last 2 games. Good luck next year until you play the pirates. (lol)

Re: Burg Football 09...
I think the key to next year's burg team will be the work they put in this offseason in the weight room. There is no doubt a bunch of talent coming back. THey just need to get stronger to go with that speed and I think Woodward will see that they are in the weight room working to get stronger this o...

Re: Wheelersburg 35 Greenup Co (KY) 7
The Burg has to clean up there execution. They got the lead 14-0 and seemed to hit a lull. It seemed the line kinda took a break and they struggled for about a quarter and a half. They came out for the 2nd half and looked like the team everybody expects.

Re: Congrats to Coach Woodward!!
Congrats to Rob. Being on the outside looking at the program and watching last weeks game, I have seen nothing but positives coming from the kids and the community. I have said the last 3 years that this man deserved a chance to be the head coach of the Pirates and now he is showing the community wh...
