Re: New Boston Glenwood Tigers
Cox did nothing wrong here, the text was before he was named coach. He's a great coach who would do it for free and that's more then I can say for most coaches in this area. The kid is originally from NB from my understanding. Cry me a river Tartans, your best coach is your assistant Wagner.

I couldn't agree anymore.Otto wrote: Tue Dec 26, 2017 11:16 pm I have a strong feeling this thread topic will pop up again in another year or two, because Portsmouth is unwilling to make serious change. Another hanger-on coach with the same voices saying, "give him a chance"

Re: Portsmouth Football Coach
It was between John Born and Bruce Kalb and some how Kalb got the job. I'm not a coach but do know a bit about football. To not make adjustments as an offensive coordinator, not getting plays to your head coach in time, and calling 2 to 3 plays 90% of the time all year is very uncalled for. The AD a...

Re: Portsmouth Football Coach
I was told today it's between kalb or born. How true who knows but thats what was whispered to me. Cadogen has coaching in swimming and track which he doesn't want to give up respectfully so. He would have to give those up. Just sharing what info I get. It could be fake news. I was told the same th...

Re: Portsmouth Football Coach
Man, I thought my Ironton Fightin Tigers had a brutal and delusional fan base. After reading these threads about the Trojans I have to believe they are even worse. First of all, from my vantage point, the Trojan players aren't very good. The hype is just that...hype! Daddies that probably weren't a...

Re: Portsmouth Football Coach
I don't think anyone would disagree that Bruce would work hard but it's a proven fact from the play calling last year that he's not the man for the job.

Re: Portsmouth Football Coach
All the crybaby daddies living through their children can post all they want, but the truth is you won’t find a coach who will work harder than Bruce Kalb to make Portsmouth Football great again. You all need to take a long look in the mirror. Working hard and getting the job done is two different ...

If you think bad things only happen in the city you don't get out much ,even the burg has had their share of drug theiving and even in house problems, there is a law suit against the school right now matter of fact for sweeping bullliing under the rug because it is certain kids that was doing it. ....

If Bruce Kalb is named the head football coach of Portsmouth it's the biggest fail in Trojan history.

I agree I think Josh is the only one ready but he has got to get rid of the offensive coaches and bring someone new in. The only other one I'd keep is Cadogen for the line. The friend bs has to go.

I'd put Portsmouth at the bottom they lost a stud qb, every lineman but the Boehm kid, and there toughest defensive player. They will be lucky to beat south point

Re: Who will take over in Portsmouth
Our county needs Portsmouth to be strong in Athletics. I follow the program very closely and I’ve noticed one glaring thing the program lacks and that’s exactly what my username is TOUGHNESS! Physically and mentally we continue to put a product on the field that lacks that. Our off season weight pr...
