Re: Week 10: Notre Dame @ Sciotoville East

This game is HUGE. It's very likely that the winner will be in and the loser out. It doesn't get much more real than this. Gut check for ND. If they can bounce back from their loss to Symmes, and not fold just yet, I'll take ND 34-28. If not, this game was decided a week ago. Go Titans!

That is an interesting scenario! That would put SV playing SG two weeks in a row!

Re: Week 9: Notre Dame (7-1) at Symmes Valley (7-1)

Wow. I knew ND was the underdog, but that's nuts. Congrats to the Vikings. They clearly deserved it. I'm still proud of my Titans! Great job Symmes.

I can't make the game tonight. If someone could post scores I would greatly appreciate it. Good luck to both teams!

Re: Spartan stadium

why would HS'ers NOT want to play at Spartan ? I think it's a great place. Because of the size. The players I've talked to that have played there said that there might as well not be any fans in the seats because they can't hear them cheering. I never liked watching a game there just because of how...

Re: What was the best field you played on in High School

Of course I'm partial to Spartan, but that field is something special. There are very few stadiums that hold the memories of Spartan in Ohio, if not the country. It's a shame that the stadium is in such bad condition. I'd love to see it restored. Besides my old home stadium, though? Believe it or no...

Re: Week 6 (4-1) Notre Dame @ (0-5) Manchester

Notre Dame was 10-0 in 1989, 1996, and 2000, but I don't recall any stellar teams besides that. The seniors who graduated last year had a career record of 21-20, which was actually the best record of a graduating class since the mid 90's. The program had 16 players in 2001. They played for several y...

wow , facts are building up against your case bleeder , you better punt . I don't think so MouthyDan. It's been a very easy schedule so far and you can't argue that. I wish ND well this year. I predicted a ND win tomorrow so dont get all bent out of shape. Good luck against those "toughies&quo...

Re: Week 6 (4-1) Notre Dame @ (0-5) Manchester

ND's opponents in the first five games have a combined 9 wins. Minford's have a combined 10. I'm almost certain Notre Dame is the smallest school in the state to field a team, and I'm pretty sure they have been since St. Joe's got rid of football in the early 90's. Enrollment wise, they don't play d...

Re: SOC I

What does East have this year that they didn't last year that would make them be that far ahead of ND? I'm really intrigued by East's and ND's turnarounds. Granted, ND does have an easier non-conference schedule this year, but I am very impressed by their recovery after losing what, like 9 seniors?

Alright, with conference play almost here, what are your expectations? It looks like Symmes is a frontrunner, but ND and East are making some noise. Is East the real deal? The last time I saw them play, they really didn't impress me. ND is a hard read too. On one hand they lost a close game to North...

MD, the game your talking about was three years ago. I remember ND wore green jerseys. Last year ND won in a shutout. 32-0 or somewhere in that neighborhood.

Re: division 6 region 23 playoff projections

ND is definitely playing at East. Should be a decent game. If ND wins out, they'll have a home game. If they lose one more they'll be traveling. If they lose two, I'd guess that they'll be right in that 9 or 10 slot. Does anybody have a definite word on Harvest Prep?
