Re: East vs Eastern score tonight?
I was too at the game, if the tall ref had blown the whistle on the block- charge which was the play that began the chaos, then there never would have been the T, the fan ejected or any of the other fans which came onto the floor. Either way blow the whistle, the collision was way to violent not to ...

Re: Congrats to Coach Jenkins!
Congrats to New Boston players, fans and Scott. I spoke to Scott after a game and despite NB getting the loss, you could see they were doing a lot of good things. When Scott would call a quick hitter, they'd run it to perfection. You could see Scott's influence in the way they were playing. I told h...

Re: Division 4 Sectional at Northwest
East goes down 81-73 to eastern. They have to be locked in that 4 seed. I wonder why East lost tonight, because the refs weren't fair, at home? That's my guess. East lost because of poor foul shooting... this doesn't automatically lock them in as the 4 as they could still get a 3 with Clay as the 4...

Re: OSU 2016 Recruit Tyler Gerald from Sciotoville Community
I heard that Coach Gifford was the connection for both the big guys to get a look from Va. Tech then ohio state offered. Gifford is going to Portsmouth to coach so these big fellows will prolly follow him......... I seriously doubt that either will follow him to Portsmouth, if in fact that is where...

Re: Sciotoville's Blaine Scott
Tartanblue, I think the offensive system might have had something to do with it but they did move the ball pretty efficiently against Alex and Piketon in the scrimmages but the real issue is the defense and has been the defense all year. If you have two D1 prospects with the potential of another lin...

Re: Week #9 Sciotoville (3-5) @ Green (1-6)
The one thing that neither East, W-burg, Ironton or any other school can do for Tyler is teach his size. The bottom line is; he is a 6'5" 310lbs. lineman that can move the way he does, that is what college coaches look for. You don't see to many of our Southern Ohio 5"10 200lbs linemen get...

Re: Week #9 Sciotoville (3-5) @ Green (1-6)
Axe, Don't you think it is a little late to be working on things? Instead of working on the passing game or extra points, the focus may be better if reducing the tantrums and showing signs of displeasure toward teammates are worked on. Finish the season without any more injuries and get ready for ba...

Re: WEEK 7: Symmes Valley (3-3) @ East (3-3)
What about being able to consistently stop the run? As far as throwing the ball, the two scrimmages the ball was thrown some, not a lot but enough to keep the linebackers and d-backs honest. East's strength is running the ball, I get that, especially with that line but you have to be able to toss it...

Not so sure about the 8 fumbles and pretty sure that the soph. and junior running backs didn't have any fumbles but I could be wrong, however there are bigger issues at the "Tartan Turf" than fumbles.

Re: week 5 Rock Hill @ East
First you have to contend with the field being lopsided, then you have to wear a miners hat but you know you are in trouble when they start the playing of the "Bag Pipes"
