What about being able to consistently stop the run? As far as throwing the ball, the two scrimmages the ball was thrown some, not a lot but enough to keep the linebackers and d-backs honest. East's strength is running the ball, I get that, especially with that line but you have to be able to toss it...

Running the ball is their strength, with that line and the running ability of their two backs it should be and they have the ability to throw it some but...

Not so sure about the 8 fumbles and pretty sure that the soph. and junior running backs didn't have any fumbles but I could be wrong, however there are bigger issues at the "Tartan Turf" than fumbles.
