I think the Oaks have been well prepared in the playoffs and have competed very well except when they ran into a private school from Columbus that looked like it could have done well in the MAC.

Elite has a nice looking website but incorrectly lists Homa as our head coach. Homa left at the end of the 2011 season. Coach Dugan is in his second year as the Oaks head man. Also we are now D-6 and in the S.O.C. 1 in football.

Oaks had a good day at Rio going 3 for 4 and even tho they apparently lost to Fort Frye for the 2nd time this summer, they are going to keep playing basketball and attend the final week of summer league in Jackson.

The Oaks will be heading to Jackson tonight for week two of summer hoops. A couple of the kids were at the beach last week so I am looking forward to seeing them play for the first time this summer. First game at 5:45.

Oaks host River Valley on Thursday 7-11 at 6. We have another 7 on 7 the following Thursday also at home but I don't know who the opponent is.
