i agree with you sportsmom. our boys dont play smart when we have a lead and we have a hard time winning the close ones. hopefully we get better at that come tournament time... also we have to make our free throws. that has been killing our boys in the close ones

bruiser you are always on here posting negative comments about coach ward give the guy a break he is doing the best he can. he has lost 2 games in OT and one by a 3 point buzzer beater so he could very easily have a winning record so give him a break

i agree 110% with fuzzhead. ward has done a great job at coal grove and will continue to do so no matter what people say about him. he is a great coach. period

in an above post someone said one of cg's middle school players is older than a rh varsity starter. i assume you are talking about will mcollister and FYI he is 15. no one on cg's roster is older than 14

hoggy is better than harper and stats prove it. just let go of the fact that you got beat by coal grove and move on. and by the way hoggy is 14

hogsten from coal grove palys nose guard and is a pretty good one

ironton wouldnt tear us into peices. the only 2 UNDEFEATED teams around are tha grove and ironton so i think it would be a pretty good game

just so everyone knows the oldest kid on the coal grove middle school team is brandon hogsten or "hoggy" and he is 14

trust me on a mission i would love to play ironton. it would be a great game to watch and play in but i dont think we could because we dont have any open dates........

i could be wrong but im pretty sure i played in the game that coal grove totally dominated chesapeke. yes jacob im pretty sure the jug is ours fair and square and peaker 76 is just mad cause we gave the peake a nice,good, coal grove butt whippin. total domination by the grove.

im pretty sure that the hornets first team defense is averaging 1 point allowed per game. keep it up cg defense we got one more to go
