Just turned it on the radio and heard Maddox for 75 screen pass for touchdown. I guess I was right about my previous post. Except they occasionally keep calling him Edmonds on the radio.

Hopefully Maddox has a good game for Fairland. He didn't play last year and missed the scrimmages this year, but I seem to remember some long touchdown runs by him against West when he was only a sophomore. Hopefully running behind a big line will help. Fairland by 3.

Doctor gave him approval to play basketball only for this season. He will undergo surgery to repair his knee tear in March I believe. Probably will sit out football for 8th grade and then back for basketball and everything else from there.

They should get Dement, Carroll, Wilcoxen, Maddox, Ward together and let them decide who should be the head coach. Once those 5 choose the head coach, the other 4 should be assistant coaches and run the head coach's system. Maybe something like... Dement/Maddox defense, Wilcoxen/Ward offense, Carrol...

As for the question about the youth league mini-helmets, we have done them in the past, most notably for Fairland Youth Football League. We also the youth's full-size award decals last season. At the OVC previews, I noticed Fairland was using the Dragon head again, but the stripe was no longer there...

Will Portsmouth West be adding a decal back to their helmet for this upcoming season?
