The fun of this conference seems to be Fort Frye and Waterford racing to 50 by halftime on everyone else.

Would it be for conditioning purposes? Playing the press at game intensity for the entire game isn't something you can necessarily simulate in practice.

People talk about The MAC. My Southeastern Ohio alma mater got close to that level for a few years, and their conference disbanded and reformed without them to avoid the competition. So, I would say, programs have to actually want to get that good, and not everybody wants to.
