Why doesnt fairland play huntington prep? It would be a similar type game that would be good for post season preperation.

Fairland looks to be the team to beat. The 30 point win at Ironton seemed to be a statement that they intend to take the title this year.

If i know a star player is scoring unnecessary goals and i am in my last game i would be trying to hurt them out of the game. Im surprised this didnt happen.

Coaching didnt matter. Both teams do not have 5 true starters. Maybe 3.5 at best, when this is the case there are going to be scenarios that are uncontrollable. It was a game of runs and both coaches did fine i thought.

Bold picks for D3, except for Fairland, the ovc is way down this year.

Every school has move ins, which will even out the numbers. Renember every kid that transfers before 7th grade isnt as bad as a kid that transfers as a 9th grader.

I hope the ironton player can make a full recovery.

First team to 9 ovc wins gets 2nd place it looks like. Other than that it might be a 3-4 way tie.

I hope fairland has a tough out of conference schedule, because ovc will be competitive(for 2nd place) but is not the traditional strong ovc. Ironton is 1-2 years away, sp is now and 2-3 years away, gallia is 1-2 years away. Not sure what portsmouth has coming up.
