Re: Fort Frye upsets Caldwell 15-9 to win PVC
Just got home from this one and before I start my game report, I thought I add a little to this topic. Both teams were flagged a lot and both teams seem to get flagged when making big plays. As a neutral fan I did not see where the refs favored one team over the other. I think the main reason FT FR...

Re: Week 8 Caldwell (7-0) @ Fort Frye (7-0) PVC Championship
Anyone who honestly can say the refs didn't give it to fort Frye you're lying to yourself. Caldwell drove the ball at will and miraculously a flag appears in the redzone every time.Caldwell probably had 5 holding penalties all year and had over 10 tonight. Nothing fishy there. Wait, so if som...

Re: Week 8 Caldwell (7-0) @ Fort Frye (7-0) PVC Championship
That's what I'm afraid I'm scared that Caldwell could wear Cadets down. Look for Kehl, Baker, and Winters to try to keep the Caldwell lineman off the Cadet LBs so Carpenter and Layton can run free. That is my take on this game. FF keeps it close for a half and then Caldwell wears them down in the s...

I know he did go off the field limping Friday....David Ivey that is. Dalton Ivey, our running back, is fine. Not sure what the extent of David's injury is. He is a beast on Defense and would be missed!

Re: Week 8 Caldwell (7-0) @ Fort Frye (7-0) PVC Championship
Caldwell has been without Lori since week 2, so that is no surprise to anyone. Ridenour was hurt against Rosecrans last week. Only injuries that I am aware of.

Re: Div.7 Region 25
Many have already given R25 to Danville, and others to Caldwell. I believe it is a three horse race with Caldwell, Trimble and Danville. Could always be a sleeper out there as well. Danville seems to be stout...not sure they have faced a defense like Caldwell would throw at them. Caldwell seems to b...

Re: PVC playoff teams / How far will they GO
Realistically only see Caldwell and Fort Frye with a chance of getting in. Shenandoah is sitting in position now, still has FF, MC and Caldwell to play.

Re: PVC playoff teams / How far will they GO
Hope to See Caldwell make a deep run this year. They have the personnel to make it far, just have to keep everything together and take it week by week. Was so close to week 13, possibly 14 last year! I look for them and Danville to have a week 13 showdown......but a lot of ball between now and then ...

Re: Schools cut football because of injuries.
I agree with you Mister B. Here in Caldwell pee wee always started with 5/6 grade. There was a push to add 3/4 grade and i was completely against it. The argument was we were already behing everyone else. Was a funny argument as Caldwell has always fielded pretty good HS teams over the years. Those ...

Re: Schools cut football because of injuries.
This is really sad. I had more injuries from playing outside and wrecking bikes then I ever did from playing football as a kid/teenager. They fail to understand that out of 40, 50 , or 60 kids on a football team, maybe 4-5 will suffer a major injury, if any at all. The life lessons that sports teach...

Re: Week 6: Valley (5-0) @ Waverly (3-2)
Valley should be far better than Caldwell. Waverly shot themselves in the foot in the first half at Caldwell "giving" the hosts all their first half points. The Tigers racked up over 200 yards of offense in that very close first half. I didn't get to listen to the 2nd half but from what I...

Re: Logan 5-0 at Shadyside 1-4
I agree....DO NOT underestimate Shadyside. They are a very well coached group. Caldwell jumped all over them and was up 21-0 half way through the second qtr. Score ended up 21-0. They made some good defensive adjustments and shut Caldwell down in second half. Don't get me wrong, we had tons of oppor...

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2015
Since Meadowbrook is not in the PVC, I will leave them out of this discussion. Would like to see them and Caldwell play again though!! Caldwell should be able to cruise through the rest of their schedule. Fort Frye is the one I pointed at long ago as the team to give them fits. The game is in Beverl...

My gut says Caldwell wins this one easily......but we are stepping up three divisions and playing an unknown opponent to us. Guess we will see what Saturday brings, looking forward to it!

Re: Waverly @ Caldwell
As stated, take I77 North to Caldwell Exit 25. The football field is located at the Noble County Fairgrounds, which is right there in front of you when exiting I77. Make a right onto St Rt 78, first light make a left. There are two entrances into the fairgounds. You can turn left immediatley at McDo...

Re: WK 4: Monroe Central (2-1) @ Caldwell (3-0)
After watching the game films, I don't think Caldwell can keep up with our offense. I know we can shut Clark down. The league title is going to be back where it belongs. Well, PVC MAN was correct. Caldwell could not keep up with MC's offense.....it kept going backwards all night and they shut Clark...
