Re: Gov DeWine Green lights all Fall sports

Not an SEO issue, but some Ohio schools have bands with 100 members plus. And their family can attend. Some places will have a decent crowd from just parents of players, cheerleaders, band members. Logan, and Jackson have 100 member plus bands. Dewine said by the end of the week he will have guidan...

Dewine also said that districts who are in red and even orange counties need to watch the community spread closely because it can affect schools, which can affect sports. You could see Jackson county play, but not Lawrence Gallia, or Scioto county.

Re: Gov DeWine Green lights all Fall sports

Another interesting thing is that Husted said each school has to have a specific compliance person at each game. He also said the state will send people randomly in to check to see ALL protocols are being followed. And if they aren't being followed, punishment could be as severe as shutting down tha...

Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink

Dewine and Husted have always wanted football. They will let it happen. Now the question will be, what hoops will Ohio Department of health make them go through. Remember, the testing is still in there. As much as Dewine wants football, if ODH still has testing at the level it is now, no football. F...

Re: OHSSA shortens season

Of the six games being played you would think conference games would take precedence. I look for Dewine to give the ok next week and give the decision on fans attending. Sure hope they decide to allow at least some fans to attend. 25% capacity of something like that. At least let the parents attend...

Re: OHSSA shortens season

Gonna be tough to schedule, especially in the SOC 2 where you don’t have enough teams for a 6 games schedule. Wonder if they will look for an out of conference game or randomly play another team in the conference. Also depends on what schools opt out also. Many boards and superintendents haven't ma...

Re: Week 1: Ironton at Burg

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say nothing on schedules will be decided until we see if Dewine approves football. Once that happens, then the conferences will decide how to proceed. Remember most conferences will have schools opt out too. I think yhere will still be a chance thus one is play...

Re: OHSSA shortens season

Oh wow..Quite a bit to digest there. I think starting on time is good, but what about the schedule? Is it just going to be conference games? How about contracts if you have to cancel a game?

Re: OHSAA Press release at 4:45

Better than nothing. Question now is will schools just play their first 6 games as previously scheduled or start cancelling non-conference games to replace them with league games?* My guess is it depends on when they start the season, if it starts on time, or if they are moving it back also. I have...

Re: Reg 23 : #4. Shadyside vs #1. Paint Valley

Athens or Logan will probably be the site. With the bigger schools playing, plus Fort Frye and Northmor being that way, I see southeast getting this game.
