Re: WEEK 7: Notre Dame (4-2, 2-1) @ Symmes Valley (3-3, 2-1)

I agree, don't see ND scoring close to 35pts. especially if there is no passing game. Not going to be able to compete for a share of the conference without it as was quite evident against Oak Hill. Should be a close one but only if ND diversifies and keeps Symmes defense honest.

Re: Transferring for playing time

Not sure what gave you the impression that those commenting have not been in the same position as you Greygoose. I am assuming most have, just chose a different lesson to teach . Sure there are those few cases that you described but certainly not to the frequency that the transfers are occurring. I ...

Re: Transferring for playing time

It is the "old school" ways that have changed. It is not a "rule" in high school athletics to transfer where you can play but rather a trend, a trend that was created by parents who think their kids are all-stars or by parents who allow their teenage child to make the decision to...

I totally agree. My post is most definitely directed at the parents. I am old school so where did it all go wrong those 20-30 years ago? ;-)

Transferring for playing time

I know that every school, in every sport there are players and parents who think their child is being overlooked for a starting position or playing time. And most of those at one time or another complain to the coaches, AD and fellow fans around them and many times threaten to transfer to a school w...

Re: Week 10: East (4-5) @ Notre Dame (2-7)

"Underperformed" is an understatement. Although they were young, tons of talent. How well they do next year will be determined by what the "powers that be" decide to do this year.

Obviously not part of the ND community because basketball is certainly not an afterthought anymore!

Re: Notre Dame Baseball

Heard ND had a JV schedule this year. Does anyone knows when they play? I certainly hope it doesn't go by the wayside like the JV football schedule did  With 7 seniors starting this year that is a large line-up to try and replace next year with kids without any playing time experience. BTW: Co...
