Ironton by 3 touchdowns. Played and beat a good West team last week (only 5 days really). Got some confidence, gonna roll now.

All this banter back and forth don't settle anything. JM had a great game-plan and executed an aggressive style of play, especially their defense, which is always easier when you get ahead early. What the discussion (arguing) does do is set the stage for a great potential rivalry for the future. I'd...

Tell that to all the area coaches he has poached players from over the years. How does he do it? Do the boosters keep apartments in the school district for these recruits
Yep...we sure do, and the players trade all their trophies and awards for tattoos. They have a lot of tattoos.

Re: Hartley vs. Chagrin Falls
You hindsight boys never fail to have it all figured out after the fact. As for dragging Ironton into this, fact is, some years we are good, some we are better and some we ain't all that good but we take it all and go on and wait for next year. I don't know where you are from and don't give a darn b...

Re: WEEK 5 Gallia Academy (4-0) @ Ironton (4-0)
I read that idiot's blog about the game and about the only thing he got right was Ashland getting their tails handed to them in the 1st qtr. You'd think they would learn after all these games/years. For the playing surface, he probably ain't ever been on either one unless it was in the band and that...

Never did consider Coach Lutz much of a "sandbagger" but have seen him hold kids back til they are ready. I expect to see a big surprise at the Tank tomorrow night.

Re: So who will be the Team to beat in 2010 in the Teen OVC
Let me have a look at the scores from Saturday first. Looks like there was at least one upset.
I guess I am more surprised about the B game than the A, but I don't know the scores of either of the Bills games or any of them for that matter.

Re: So who will be the Team to beat in 2010 in the Teen OVC
I was wondering if someone would post up the scores to the games from Saturday 9-11 for those who care about the kids' football games instead of all that other noise. There are other teams besides the Ironton Eagles and Coal Grove Hornets. Are the scores not making it to the secretary? I know she wi...

Re: Congratulations to Bob Lutz, winningest Coach in Ohio!!
It has been so many years now that the success Coach Lutz has brought to this community is taken for granted at times. Coach and his assistants have turned so many young boys into men and taught them respect and discipline. They have been instrumental in keeping the community united and a source of ...
