Re: Southeast District Top 10 (1-25-15)

Jimmy Chipwood is correct, my cavs are not a top 10 team. Yes I feel we are getting better but are still way to inconsistent and have a long way to go before we can be mentioned in the same catagory of those top 10 teams.

Re: SCOL Preview

Wilmington is the obvious front runner but look out for my CAVS! In Coach Huffer's 2nd year at the helm the CAVS are poised to make some serious noise! they return a very special player in Bolte (who should be player of the year IMO) but watch out for the supporting cast- Johnson, Benson, Rosenbower...

Re: DII Southeast District

Chillicothe should have enough to make a run at districts, they return some nice players and have some young kids ready to contribute. nickle back.... on paper that statement seems true but unless our seniors step up and take ownership of this team, the "should have" will not be enough. W...

Re: Chillicothes new coach? .

UKPROF: during their peewee season it is about making sure the kids are grasping the fundamentals of basketball. Not about "thumping" your chest talking about how many games you have won and teams that you have beat. I want to make sure the kids are ready for high school, WHERE RECORDS COU...

Re: Chillicothes new coach? .

now I know you have no clue what you are talking about. The 6th grade team u mentioned, i have coached for 5 years and never has a kid been kicked out of a game. That is a great group of kids who love the game and play with passion!! So the question is, how many games have you been to?!

Re: Minford Boys Basketball Tourney

what teams have committed so far? we played the wheelersburg and coal grove teams last year as 5th graders and i thought they were solid basketball teams. Are there any other 6th grade teams in the area that are really good?

Re: Chillicothe girls

boo33vb- not so much good coaching, but the fact that the girls are gaining confidence in their abilities. The 3 games that we have lost we have played teams who should reach the regionals this year and aside from not showing up to compete against athens (who is a very good team with a very very goo...

Re: Chillicothe girls

Great start to season for the Cavs! Hitchbone, gimme some stats cuz i know you keep them. Nothing in the Gazette, maybe they just haven't put story in yet, but its kinda late now. Who led in scoring, did Jenna clean the boards for us. I got a feeling we pressed and steals were a factor. Go Cavs! Ye...

Re: Chillicothe girls

How do the Cavaliers look? Anybody been to scrimmages to see them play yet? Coach Beard will have them in gear come season start. Dawes, Holton, Large are key players, anyone else emerging to help? boo33vb- the lady cavs have worked very hard during the off-season as well as pre-season. Things have...

Re: Chillicothes new coach? .

UKPROF, i was at all junior games last year and i dont remember a player being tossed from a game or scrimmage so I think you and the "onlookers" need to get info correct. Yes our kids can have attitudes at times but every teenager has attitudes. I can honestly tell you from a coaching sta...
