my2cents, i totally agree with you. according to the OHSAA New Boston has 38 boys to pick from, while St.Joe has 16 boys. I haven't researched it, but I would imagine there are several school with 50 boys or under.

Even though St.Joe is not in the SOC, I agree that Joe Unger is a good keeper. He has started since he was a Freshman and has improved every year, and has recieved all district honors. Additionally Payton Blair is a player to watch. He too has started since he was a freshman and is in his junior yea...

Game oddity. SV made 13 shots from the field. SJ made 13 shots from the field. Both teams had 6 trifectas. SV was 10 for 19 from the charity stripe, SJ was 16-24 from the charity stripe.

Does anyone have information on Point Pleasants soccer team? St. Joe has a home game Thursday with them.

St.Joe will play Beaver Eastern,not North Adam, @ 4:00 PM Saturday 8/23 @ St.Joe's Field.

I thought SP did a excellant job. As with any middle school teams, learning the game is where it's at. SP's coaching staff was coaching their team the entire game. They will only get better as the seasons goes on. SJjr. played an excellant game. Coach Hopkins and his assistants kept the Flyers focus...

As of now, conditioning and skills practice will start PM 07/14/2008 and continue through 08/02/2008. This years soccer camp will start 08/03/2008, and run through 08/07/2008. Details to follow as plans are finalized

RRR the napkin was close. Harvey and Blair both had 14 points. IMO even though the Flyers lost, I thought this was the best team effort game they have played this year. The kids are playing hard and I hope they continue to do so.
