Re: Region 21
Region 21 has one of the Top 10 games in the state this Friday according to Pasteur ranking Ready v. Loudonville as the biggest game in Central Ohio.
Re: Region 21
Loudonville has only played 1 team with a winning record albeit a very impressive win over Hillsdale. I would have to agree, Ready's homecoming game this week is a must win. A win would change the discussion from "will they make the playoffs" to "does Ready host".
Re: Region 21
Thanks for the insight!
Re: Region 21
Do you know what differs between you and Drew Pasteur who has Ready finishing with the #8 seed?
Re: Region 21
Playing 9 games typically helps a team. Why would it hurt Ready?
Re: Region 21
This could be totally wrong, but I see this region as Valley's to lose. I think Ready and Fredericktown could have something to say about it but this Ready team is much more beatable than last season. I'll throw Fredericktown in there bc of their gaudy record come the end of the season but the Fredd...
Re: Region 21
Whitehall definitely has a shot at 5 wins this season. I wouldn't bet on it but they could surprise me. This Whitehall team has a realistic shot in every game the rest of the season as they showed last week in beating an undefeated Bexley. If I had to guess though, I would go with 4-6. Whitehall lac...
Re: Region 21
I too am interested if this is true.. I had not heard anything about a team wanting to drop Ready.
Re: Region 21
Its easy to sit back and judge Ready's schedule and its weaknesses this season. The fact of the matter is you almost can't turn down a game as there are a large number of teams that 1) won't schedule Ready and 2) don't see the advantage in scheduling several divisions below them. Lets take a look at...
Re: Region 21
I think Ready will find a way in. Whitehall and Academy will provide points. Whitehall just defeated an undefeated Bexley team. I might be a homer, but if they get in I think they could win a game or two... Anything more than that might be asking a lot this season. Ready is incredibly young, talent ...

I would like to know this as well.
GO READY!
GO READY!
Re: Region 21
Ridgewood has very little to offer in way of points though. After tonight they have 2 schools left with winning records and no one left above D5. If they trip up once then they are looking at a potentially very long road trip Week 11.
Re: Region 21
Ready will gain a huge load of points with a win over Jackson, most likely taking over 1st place in the region (albeit still very early).

Re: Week 4 Jackson vs. Ready
Is anyone going to the game? Unfortunately I won't be able to make it but would appreciate if anyone is able to give periodic updates.

Re: Week 4 Jackson vs. Ready
Statement game for both schools, more so for Jackson than Ready. Ready still has Loudonville and Hartley on the schedule.
Note: Ready is #2 in Division 6 according to the AP receiving 2 first place votes.

Re: Week 4 Jackson vs. Ready
This will be a very interesting game. If Ready pulls off the W then that means HUGE playoff points. This will be the best team Ready has faced as well as Jackson.

Re: WEEK 3: West Jefferson (1-1) at Jackson (2-0)
Ready is more of a run oriented team, you are correct. I was at the WJ/Alder game last week and left extremely unimpressed with what WJ showed... Completing passes on only broken down coverage and unable to capitalize when needed. This team is much different from last years squad.
Re: Region 21
Ready doesn't return a whole lot from last season but they reloaded. Brian Cross is now our head coach (former head coach at Canton McKinley, Grove City, and Olentangy Orange) who has more than 30 years of experience. Ready came from behind and beat a Whitehall team many people said is greatly impro...
Re: Region 21
I think you'll see a lot of familiar faces (Ready, Valley, Centerburg, etc.) with the exception of Newark Catholic and Bellaire.
Region 21
Haven't seen too much talk about this region unlike last season. What are everyone's thoughts? Does Nelsonville or Valley have a shot at taking the Regional Championship this season or is this a battle between the likes of Bishop Ready and Fredericktown?
