After looking at both teams schedules, I see they both played Lucasville Valley. Ironton won by 35. NA lost by 22. I don't see this game being close very long.

minford will be a tough place for the burg to get their first win of the season over a team with a winning record....good luck

SW was ice cold, Swords was on the bench, and my pirates still lost. Things are really bad in pirateland right now. I was really impressed with Levi Cooks fullcourt drive through all 5 defenders with 3 seconds left to score at the buzzer. He is an amazing athlete.

Until the Burg starts playing with some discipline or learns how to shoot, they are going to continue to lose games like this. They cannot get points in the paint when they have to have it. I expected a little more from a team with all of their players back.

This should turn out to be the best sectional game at Jackson this year. A week ago I would have said Valley wins easily, but with their play as of late, this game has become a coin flip for me. It's hard to believe one of these teams won't be going to Athens.

Valley by as much as they want. Be ready second team, you're going to get a lot of playing time.

So what time is the parade tomorrow???

Tobias, Fairland would have been a #5 seed at best if they played at Jackson.

Bendolph takes Fisher out of his game and Ptowns bigs to much for Salyers. Portsmouth wins a tight game by double digits by the time its over.

BG77, you are exactly right on the foul situation, Peebles should be glad for the way the game was called. Stegman might of had his best game of the year. Peebles had no answer for him. If it was purely a 3pt contest Peebles would have definetly won,really enjoyed watching Justice, he did not disapp...

Even though Minford is definetly more athletic, I'll take the Tigers by 25.

Burg has to make the outside shot against the tight 2-3 zone that the Oaks will be in, then maybe Stegman will get some good looks inside. Also they need to bring the same defensive effort that they brought to the Minford game and sustain it for 4 quarters. If they can do that, I'll take Burg in clo...

I know the ref that Blind-ump13 is talking about. He is horrible. It's a shame that kids have to be exposed to such a thing. Hopefully I will never see him call any of my kids games again. I can handle a loss OK as long as its not because of somebody like him.
