Minford because the NW coaching staff can’t game plan. They lost to a down Burg team. NW is a bit below average again this year. Minford 28 NW 8 The down Burg team you mention would be undefeated right now if they played Minfords soft schedule. They have played some very good teams so far. Reality ...

After what I just saw from their Facebook page. I see no way to avoid a 0-10 season. I hope I’m wrong for Falcon fans.

I figured he would have been retired and only coaching by now. I hope it works out for PHS, they need to do whatever they can to keep Lisath.

Re: Impact players in the 2024-25 season ... Who do you have?
Does anyone anticipate Shaun Terry playing basketball this year for Ironton? I feel like his status might be up in the air with the possibility of early enrolling for spring football. Ironton drops without Terry playing. I know I saw a couple tweets and facebook posts about his performances this sp...

Re: SE District Teams by New Division for the 2024-25 season:
Clay can’t be D6. They 100 % are. Done deal, due to CB numbers. Are they going to be any good ? Rosemount or Portsmouth Clay have long been a traditional D4 School which would be equivalent to D7, however I am just assuming with their close proximity to Lucasville Valley as well as Portsmouth City,...

Good, I hope he can go out as a state champion, would be a real fitting end to the career of one of the best to ever do it.

Everyone knows he was brought in to coach this special team, the goal was the State Tournament, with Roberts back I hope he decides to make one more run at it, even if that means resting up over the summer and letting Fenton handle the day to day operations until November. From a distance, Fenton d...

Austin would be a good choice, then after that leave him alone and let him try to build the program youth & up.

This game could go either way, Western has played a way more difficult schedule, these teams are not far off from one another despite the records.

Re: Minford Football
Yeah, Minford may have to move on. Football offseason weights/training firing back up this week, and they still without a head coach. Not sure who option #2 is, but I'd be giving him a call Friday evening if Lester hasn't accepted by then.* One would imagine Paul Carver or Tom Kaskey would be next ...

Gotta believe Kaskey is the frontrunner. Sounds like Minford has an opportunity here, to make a big splash hire and instantly bring energy back to the program.

Re: OHSAA: Behind Closed Doors..Adding Basketball Divisiosn
I was told coaches voted for this at district meetings..so I am not sure about "behind closed doors". I think this is a good thing anyway, there's just too much a gap in all divisions between the high end enrollment and low end, that goes from D1 to D4. 6 Would be the perfect combination, ...
