Way to handle those Jackson Ironmen SE-Ross. Good win for the Panthers and Coach Uhrig over Coach Jordan. Way to represent Ross County!

I'd say that tasted as sweet as pure sugar, didn't it? :-D

Re: Minford 55 Jackson 46

I'd say you are right. Jackson is down this year to begin with and there is still a lot of tension between Jordan and the folks from Southeastern. It will be a stressful night for the first year at Jackson coach - whether the Ironmen pull down a win or not. Southeastern will leave everything they ha...

Re: Week 2 Player of the Week Nominations

Cody Huff, Jackson. The young man was the workhorse of the Ironmen in their victory over Waverly. He never seemed to stop and his heart was obvious in every play. Cody wins, in my opinion, hands down!

Re: WK 1 Waverly @ Piketon

With a score of 53 - 54, either BOTH offenses rocked or both defenses stunk. Even with the Roback stats they barely squeaked one out so I say Piketon should have a lot to be pleased with if Roback and the Tigers are so awesome.

Re: Nominations for SEO players of the week for week 1

Just so fbone will call me a stinkin genius again: Roback: 422 yards in 27 passes gives him 15.63 yards per successful, completed pass. Boggs: 130 yards in 4 successfully completed passes gives Tyler 32.5 yards each. I think, as a passing quarterback, and considering that he didn't get every offensi...

grndma1 - don't strain yourself trying to figure it out. All you'll do is get a headache and then, the next thing you know, real irnman will go through puberty and you'll have to start interpreting the incoherent ramblings all over again....

Re: Nominations for SEO players of the week for week 1

It doesn't matter and it's certainly not worth patty-cakeing with you over. I was not saying there was the same size difference between the two sets of schools - the point I was trying to make is that Wellston is not an insignificant "only from Wellston" team and school like was implied/st...

tigerfan4life -

I was baseing that comment on the Ohio High School Athletic Association's listing that Piketon is Class AA and Waverly is listed as AAA. Waverly is shown as being 3 boys shy of being a D3 with 253 boys - Piketon has 216 boys.

Re: Nominations for SEO players of the week for week 1

Roback certainly played extremely well. IronmanTradition: I don't think it's fair to say that Jackson's game was only against Wellston. Piketon's not exactly a huge school either - much smaller than Waverly. And I don't understand why Boggs is not worth mentioning either. His completion percentage w...

Re: WK 1 Jackson @ Wellston

Cody Huff (#24)and Brandon Trace (#30) had good nights as did number 15 and I apologize that the name has slipped from me (it's getting late and I'm too old for this!!!). Several times there were Ironmen ball carriers that just seemed to drive so hard. Boggs had a very good game tonightas well,. I'd...
