Proehl would also be the favorite in the 3200. The Cass girl from Athens will give her a run for her money in the distance events, but that 11:03 time is not legit.

I thought NY was going to get the Regional meet, but Athens is OK too. We'll see how teams from the northeast like driving 2-3 hours on a bus in 90+ degree weather. I'm so happy to get out of that craphole Meadowbrook, that I can hardly contain myself.

Second Sole in Columbus on Morse Rd is also a good place to go. They'll also give you a 15% discount if you mention you're on a school team. My daughters have bought their shoes there for the last 10 years. They prefer Nike. All of their sales staff are professional/collegiate runners.

Milesplit has the Rio and Pick North courses ranked about the same at 26-27 secs slow. Cambridge is ranked 50 secs fast. For girls, I think if they are not peaked for the regional race, the times are about the same. It seems like Pick regionals are always a mess though....muddy, raining, snowing, so...

Good job today girls with your District Runner-up title! Good luck as you travel to Pick next week for Regionals.
