Re: Week 4: oakhill (0-3)@wellston (1-2)
The Oaks showed some real life on offense at times, but the defense allowed too many big plays for the Rockets. I liked how the Oaks went for it (and converted) on 4th downs too. Hate to lose, but the Oaks are getting better. Best wishes to the Rockets for the rest of their season.

Re: Week 4: oakhill (0-3)@wellston (1-2)
The Oaks are much improved from Week 1, even though the scoreboard hasn't shown it. Wellston is a good team and Jaylen Prater is an awesome football player. If the Oaks can stop Prater and somehow cut down on turnovers, we may have a shot. Both teams will be hungry for a victory. Should be a good ga...

Re: Week 3: Rock Hill v Oak Hill (The Battle of the Hills 20
Yes, we're not going to win many games this season, but I don't agree with your overall assessment of our football program's tradition. We've had losing seasons and we've had winning seasons during the last 25 years, same as most high programs in the area. Oak Pride runs deep, regardless of the scor...

Re: Week 3: Rock Hill v Oak Hill (The Battle of the Hills 20
The Oaks showed improvement and moved the ball better this week. Turnovers and questionable play calling were momentum killers. The Oaks need to keep their heads up and focus on the Wellston game next week. Definitely a better showing, but still lots of room for improvement.

The Oaks are coming off 2 hard losses to Chesapeake and Wheelersburg. In week 3, it's time to regroup and focus on the positives. The players are gaining experience with every game and hopefully we'll see improvement against Rock Hill. Go Oaks!

Will the Oaks find their first 2011 victory at Davis Stadium?

Re: Jaylen Prater/Northwestern
Best wishes to Jaylen at Northwestern next year. I find it ludicrous that any person would say something lewd or derogatory about a high school athlete getting a Division 1 scholarship. Actually, I find it pathetic. Not many kids from this area get such an opportunity. I just hope he survives this s...

Wheelersburg won 41-0. The Oaks need to regroup for week 3, no question about it!

Thank you for your opinion. I wouldn't expect a different response from a Wheelersburg fan. Go Oaks!

When you're at the top, there's nowhere to go but down. When you're on your descent, the ones you conquered in the previous years are leading the cheers! All's fair in love and football!

Re: WEEK 2: Oak Hill (0-1) @ Wheelersburg (0-1)
Nobody's jumping ship in Oak Hill. We true fans know we're in a rebuilding year with a new coach. Yes, we did get spoiled by last year's senior class, but athletes like that don't appear every season. The Oaks will get better. I don't think we can play much worse! Coach Homa does need to focus on ou...
