Re: Week 6 Rock Hill @ Fairland
It's a new season for the Redmen. You can't do anything about the first 5 games, but you can certainly take the positives into conference play and perform like you are capable. Again, everyone has to step up. Don't play according to your age or grade in school... it doesn't matter if you are a sopho...

Re: Week 2: Rock Hill @ Valley
All I would add to that is defensive pressure... Haste makes waste... and we are not forcing their QB to waste anything... they stand in the pocket with no concern about a blindside blitz... they scramble and we do not contain... we must plug those holes... 3rd and 25 has turned into 1st and 10 too ...

Re: All time Rock Hill football team
OK....in a few more days...there will be 200 members of the All time RH team. I say pick the best position player from each decade and go from there. If empty-no standouts Since 2000 QB- Jerrod Casey....McCollister will prob take this one in the next few years FB- HB- KC Christian...Hon Mention Pie...
Re: All OVC
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the ALL-OVC Players especially the Rock hill Boys... Mitchell Davenport, Herb Butterbaugh, Adam Fradd, and Cory Bamer... we'll sure miss those last three names next season... Hopefully Mitch will repeat and have a lot more company with him from the Hill next season... I def...

Re: Rock hill basketball
Watch out OVC. Rock hill is going to win this conference. They have the biggest and baddest player in the OVC he goes by the name Sam Cooke. . money, just wondering if you might be Sam Cooke's little brother .............. It would be impossible for Sam Cooke to have a little brother because Sam is...

Re: Rock hill football next year
So much will depend on the off-season committment by the players. They must get stronger and quicker at all positions... they have a good frame work in place at some key spots, but must stay healthy... again that comes back to conditioning and strength... yes there are those fluke injuries, but risk...

Re: OVC after the Dust Settles
Fairland still maintains an edge with Hatfield... if he plays within himself he is very dangerous and has some speed with him... the Dragons will miss their inside presence with Lamb and especially Bumgardner... the later being a beast on the boards... Chesy has some good coaching it seems and you w...

OVC after the Dust Settles
With Lamb gone from Fairland and Mayo from South Point and several coaches into their 3rd season (the one which many look for the evidence that the program is headed in the right direction)... who are the teams to beat and why? What (not who) will be the difference makers with your team? Who are the...

Re: WK 10 Rock Hill @ River Valley
How can people get on here and say that the redmen keep improving each week? If that was the case, you would think that the scores would be more indicative of such improvement. When your young and lose 4 more starters off an already depleted lineup these things will happen. I believe the returning ...

Re: WK 10 Rock Hill @ River Valley
Here's a stat that Rock Hill will want to forget: this year in 4 OVC games, the Redmen are being outscored by an average of 24-6 in the 2nd half. True, that's not good... teams are double and triple teaming Davenport in the second half and forcing the Hill to turn elswhere for big yards... I think ...

Re: WK 10 Rock Hill @ River Valley
How many seniors will each of the teams be losing after Friday's game? Will either team be returning a bunch of lettermen next year? Rock Hill only has about 3 or 4 playing... they have around 17-18 juniors and a load of sophomores as well... things should improve for the Redmen next season and bey...

Re: WK 10 Rock Hill @ River Valley
Other notable players who have been stepping up have to include 6' 8" Sam Cooke at tight end... they have thrown him two balls and he has caught both in traffic, on the move and for big gains... he can take a hit and usually delivers more punishment on a hit than he recieves... he'll be back ne...

Re: WK 10 Rock Hill @ River Valley
Rock Hill has steadly improved each game, showing signs of the team to come. Other posters have mentioned senior Cory Bammer who has carried the load in the backfield with 124 carries and 428 yards (#10 in OVC)... he has also recieved help from junior Steve Lewis 39/150yds and injured junior Josh Ma...

Re: Week 9- Rock Hill @ South Point
Rock Hill played better for longer tonight... giving up a Hail Mary pass with 3 seconds left in the first half broke their will... they had Seagraves stopped, but he got loose and threw the ball as far as he could... Kratzenburg got behind the defense (Inexcusable) and made a catch with no one withi...

Re: Week 9- Rock Hill @ South Point
not even a game!!!!!! South Point will beat them by as much as they want! hard to believe Rock Hill went from a playoff team to 0-8 team. amazing It's tough to have a great senior year if you don't have many seniors... RH graduated a ton of senior last year, but will retain around 18 seniors next y...

Well said... tl895, As I read your post regarding the "worst team on the river,"I initially had a few thoughts: First, I thought this individual must be a high school student because "grown ups" don't disrespect high school athletes this way. Then it occured to me that maybe you ...

Re: WK 8 Rock Hill @ Coal Grove (Rival Game)
I'm impressed with the RH coaches ability to keep the guys together and focused in the face of such adversity... that's a hard thing to do and I think that is a part of coaching that goes unnoticed... we tend to concentrate so much on the x's and o's and sometimes forget about the jims and the joes....
