Re: Webster @ Waverly
Alright, I appologize for mentioning a number, I went to far with that, but when a player jumps on another players back and has them in a head lock isnt real classy. He should get an award for that. He knows what he did and he did it right out in the open for all to see, I am just stating what I wi...

Re: Top senior in soc1
rockyraccoon, how about Kirby Claxon from South Webster? He was an excellent defender who had great vision of the field and understood this concept of creating space. What do his stats reflect??? I'm pretty sure he didn't have a list of goals, assists, or saves? I am not saying that there aren't gr...

Re: SW Defence
To me striking out is still no reason to throw a fit, the pitcher won that time! To find a reason to be upset after you hit the ball hard and made an out could be because maybe a runner was on second or third and the hitter needed to put something to the right side to advance the runners but instead...

Re: SW Defence
I agree but I'm still not seeing the reason to single out the ss when there are far more reasons other than errors. Where is the offense every game? These kids were starting to gel at the right time but when this past layoff came along I knew they were in trouble. Last night was proof. But to come o...

Re: SW Defence
Steelhands, now that I know your a parent or non player let us know your real reason. You must be so fixated on my son that you fail to see anything else going on. Why are you so critical of him? Have you ever played? Would you care to reveal yourself? I'm sure if Zimmie had someone else to replace ...

Re: South Webster vs. Worthington Christian @ river view
Just a thought after reading all the posts on the OTHER site. WC will have some speed and probably more than Webster has seen in the SOC. Normally, speedy teams don't like physical games and fortunately Webster plays better in the physical games. Webster can take away their speed by knocking them of...

Re: South Webster vs. Worthington Christian @ river view
Someone should let the players see the thread on Saturdays game on the "other" site! They are predicting a blow out. That will play to our favor! You boys have nothing to lose. Prepare yourselves mentally and see yourself playing the most physical game you can mustard. WC puts their unifo...

Re: Porstmouth Times soccer coverage???
Sorry I upset you so much, but if my kid is playing dirty and running his mouth, I want to know and I will correct it, not defend it. As for the Clay vs West game, it was 4 - 1 at half. Clay only has 2 subs so all you can do is drop back your better players. One freshman boy scored his first two go...

Re: Porstmouth Times soccer coverage???
CSK, all I can figure is somewhere in the past SW has been slighted and you haven't gotten over it. I have seen nothing but good things said about them in the paper. Now as for on here, there might be some beefs. I have seen and heard them play and if calling your opponenets "MFers" on th...

My2cents and RxBurgFan - I am so happy that my comment has brought you two together. It must be nice to finally have someone to compliment your views. You guys should get a raise for your prompt defensive responses. If you worked for me, and your probably glad you don't, I would make you two my edit...

Re: South Webster @ Burg
Flops are part of the game and people should get use to it. The way I see it, that player is doing whatever it takes to score for his team. The tighter the game the more flops you'll see. Rarely are there flops in blowout games. Even though I don't agree with it I do accept it as another play of the...

Re: South Webster @ Burg
flops or not the referees called the game. if you would like the games called differently there are classes each summer for a liscense. webster won the game what complaints can there be? usually the losing team cries about flops. from what i have seen this season games have been called reasonably w...

Re: Porstmouth Times soccer coverage???
pdt just reports comments from the coaches. only thing i have heard about "not being scored on" came from posters on line. i agree wins are wins but if you are close enough to see the "pdts head up burgs butt" maybe you should broaden your views unless your just an anal retentiv...
