I heard that Gallia Academy will be playing Columbus Bishop Hartley next year. That should be a tough game.

Southern Ohio teams are all but guaranteed to lose as soon as they match up with a Columbus team. I am not slamming Southern Ohio football because that is what I love, but look at recent history: When they match up with a team around columbus, they lose.

Football has to be important to the school and the administration. I wish Coach Shob a lot of luck. The biggest problem at MHS is that football is not that important at the school. There is no buzz inside the school building on gamedays or during the fall like there is at Logan, Gallia, Jackson, etc...

They are like 6-44 in the last five years. Am I missing something, or maybe it might be a good time for a change??????

Has Coach Shob approached Coach Porter about coaching this year? He was a very good coach and would help get the Tigers back on track.

Sorry to be pessismistic, but I see a 2 win season (Parkersburg South and Warren) and maybe a 3 win season (maybe Jackson).
