Once again a great meet early in the season. Well run and good competition. As a side bar, the burgers were great!

Although the meet was abbreviated by a thunder storm, the Athens girls relay teams had some good times in Chillicothe Thursday. The 4 x 100 51.74,
4 x 200 1:49.24 and the 4 x 800 10:14.81.

Two questions. Did in fact South Gallia girls 4 x 100 run a 50 flat? Second, what is the status of Eastern's Laura Pullins this season?

Too bad the TVC does not have the Meet of Champions so as to settle this issue on the track and in the field.

I agree with Chieftain2009 about Nelsonville-York. I would add they also run good meets. They keep the intervals between events to a minimum, they are prompt with announcing and posting the results, they allow photographers access to good areas, and they have great burgers! The best!

The Nelsonville York meet last night(March 30) had several SEO teams.

Forgot to add that NY has the best burgers I have had at any track meet!

I agree with noreply66 and and note the sprinters especially love it as they run West to East!

If you watched the game the announcers made several interesting points. First there are no DIII teams in Florida so a good place to recruit. Second a lot of kids who are D I mid major level players get to enjoy championship games almost every year, And finally if you are good enough at the DIII leve...

Neither shouting or swearing are effective or appropriate. As John Wooden used to say "you coach them during the week, then you let them play on the weekend." Shouting and swearing in my book indicates that someone is not a very good coach to begin with!

Again, a lot came happen between now and May, but if we examine the returning girls from 2015 Div I District (Top Three Teams) not counting relays, Chillicothe has 72, Logan 58, and Athens 78. I suspect Athens will dominate relays again, but could be wrong. Anyway the District meet in Marietta this ...
