Re: Division III Heath District February 22-23

subwrstlr155, if you want to critique me, why don't you bother spending a good time going through the brackets first? it's posters like you that I can not stand.

103 Tyler Reed, pending huge upset, has finals placement. He and the 2nd best 103 are both on the top bracket, setting up a good semifinals match. Look for him to get no less than 4th and as the best chance for a SE/E wrestler to get to Columbus. Reed 1st-4th 112 Sorry, no wrestlers here will make i...

Congrats to Caldwell, Belpre, and Wellston! A couple of suprises, not tooo many though. I will look into the next day or two what individuals have a legitimant chance for state. BTW, we shouldn't be knocking on the 130 from ZT or the coach that posted his comment (even though he said JK at the end o...

I have been told by two sources that he has been battling mono for the last few weeks. Not sure about any truth, but it has been to troubling for his to remain in wrestling condition. He is a very talented wrestler, I wish nothing but the best for him.

\no obsession with Corbin just a good comparison. Both went to state and didn't make a "splash." And they are both very good at their sports. I hope you see where I am coming from and not some pedaphile man crush. Anyways, wrestling > cc :-)

Running is more complex than just putting a foot in front of another. You have to have balance, speed, stamina, strategy on when to run, pace, hydratated during races, you have to eat the right food, you have to be flexible enough, and put in the miles to be able to run a 5k race. Lets not take away...

Ok, thats fine, I don't think anyone will argue that? See, to win state in wrestling, you have to wrestle your 4 best matches of the year, or just enough to beat the other guy. In cross country, any runner who is having a really good day can win. I know there is a top tier of runners who seperate th...

On average, almost anyone can go running. I know a young man who ran a thousand miles from March to November and still came up short in wrestling. He was the TVC cross country champ two years ago and also a state placer in wrestling the same year. If you just want to use dedicated runners as having ...

Cross country is most sports punishment, and it takes a lot of mental toughness to do- as much as wrestling I would say. However, wrestling, especially when cutting weight, and being serious, is more demanding than any other sport. Because of it's physical and mental aspects in the sport, and the co...
