It's not about wins and losses either. High School sports are about setting kids up for success in life, not about acting a fool and setting a bad example week after week. The kids deserve better.

Every time the school board tries to can Boston, the fans outrage and demand him back. Maybe they saw the writing in the wall long ago. Maybe people should have listened then. The main problem I see with NY is both lines are over-matched most of the time. Once the defense is through the O-line... which is pretty quick, Hunter starts to look for running holes, and the pass is forgotten. Not his fault, and the line needs to hold blocks better to improve the running and pass...

I think that's the first NY Trimble game where I came away thinking Davey out-coached Phil. Good adjustments on defense at half, and using Skylar Canter on the Oline helped tremendously. Good luck to both teams going forward.

I was over at the Sty last month, and someone was telling me they did a lot of work on the field, regrading, and planting new grass. It really looked nice, especially compared to how last season ended up with the painted dirt for the playoff game... although the flying skull thing looked pretty cool...

Not to disrupt the high level of discourse, lol, but as I see it, the team with the best O and D line combination wins this one. I think both teams have decent skill players, but it'll be won in the trenches. Anyone have any insight on either NY or Trimble's line play outlook?
