Heard Tony and Daniel and the boys are doing some back door dealing to get a reset on the SVAC.
Tentatively looking at Southern, Eastern, South Gallia, River Valley, and Meigs as charter members with possibility of Hannah being invited.

Well as an alumni I have to say I can't believe we play MEIGS. Don't we have any standards?

Re: underrated players of se ohio
Not sure of his name, but pound for pound #1 for Trimble is a beast on both sides of the ball. If he was 6'3" and 230 lbs. he would be going D1 just about anywhere. I enjoy watching him play.

Re: Athens @ Meigs
Ultron, I don't have a dog in this fight, but I will tell you it is much better to fit an offense and defense to your players and not to try to fit your players to an offense and defense. Why try and run something if you don't have the personal to run it. Example, I watched Amyx at Logan have winner...

Re: WEEK 7: LOGAN (3-3) @ JACKSON (6-0)
After watching Jackson play, they are tough at stopping the run. What I think does work against them are crossing route off of play action. I'll be rooting for my Chiefs.

Would like to know, just who approached who to play this series. Bottom line Meigs had no answer for Logan's run game. It was like a hot knife through butter.

Re: #1 Trimble vs #1 Western Reserve. Final Four.
Bottom line is anyone who has made it this far, is good. I don't think you can sneak into the playoffs. With that said I wish the Tomcats and my Lil'buddy the best of luck. Head up, toes in, keep your feet moving and remember low man wins. Stay healthy and hope to see you in the finals.

It was in the late 60's but the state shut down Starr-Washington ( Union Furnace) and made them a part of Logan City Schools, so yes it has happened.

All the districts that I posted are a part of Hocking County. A total of six different districts make up Hocking County.

Re: Logan Football 2013
C-Bolt, FYI, yes Logan is the only school in Hocking but students of Hocking County also attend,
Southern ( Miller)
Vinton County
Logan Elm
Nelsonville-York
Berne Union
So you can see not all kids in the county go to Logan

It should be a rather good game. But I will say this, Trimble will be ready for them, you can take that to the bank. Good luck to both teams and stay healthy.

Re: (0-1) Columbus Northland @ (0-1) Logan
Logan does need to work on special teams, I'll admit that. I did see some good things and I do think that things are starting to turn around. I'm not trying to make excuses but if high school had red flags and instant replay there would not have been an overtime game but logan would have won by 2. I...
