Big Dave Rumley, former GAHS Defensive player is up there in my opinion. In his high school days he was awarded all-league, all-district and all-state honors. Dave Rumley of GAHS's dad John Rumley played for Kyger Creek and he had 40 points in one game and 31 Rebounds. He still holds both school records. He was all SVAC in Basketball & Football in 1973-1974.
