There look to be enough O linemen that can play. Coach McRoberts shuffled them around a bit this year so expect a shuffling next year to get people in the best position to help the team. I am excited.

Minford should improve again next year. I think the defense will be a lot faster, and only one starter on offense is lost.

I think these teams are fairly evenly matched. There is a big size difference between the Burg D line and the Minford O line but Burg is very quick on the D line. I like Minford (of course) in this game. Both teams are well coached.

West has a very good 8th grade team

South Point has a decent team. West must be pretty good. Burg takes this game 31 to 14.

Wellsoton is much improved and looks like what you would expect from Wellsont: strong and physical, can run the ball

Massie is a great junior high player. He was a one man wrecking crew last night.

I think Bricker is an excellent QB and his mobility is exactly what West needs in this game.

My hunch: West with a mobile QB wins easily.

I agree with Bulldog on his analysis. SP is a good well coached team that could beat WB. However, WB should win. I predict it will be a competetive game.

Big statement victory for Burg. I also think Ironton got out coached. Lutz is a hall of fame coach but you need to have a passing game.

I think that the Oak fans are a little over confident here. Coach Davis is pretty good a Chesapeake.

WOW I am a Falcon fan but I don't see anyone going 10-0 on that list unless it is East. Too many good teams.

Will West win the D5 state championship? If as good as their posters say, they have no weaknesses, great coaching and an abundance of talent. Isn't that a recipe for a state title run?

South Point is very well coached and has good talent. This will not be a blow out by Portsmouth. At home, look for South Point to pull it out.
