Re: OVC (2-6) Chesapeake @ (6-2) Fairland
Someone made a previous post about Fairland being way ahead this season from where they were at this point in seasons past with the most wins since 2003. Not to take away from Fairland's wins, but looking at the strength of their schedule this season, they haven't beat a team with a winning record y...

Re: All SE District Teams
Why is it that INVARIABLY every time one of these lists come out someone has to get on here and try to take something away from the kids that made it? Obviously, not everyone can make every list and to think that there's some huge conspiracy to blackball certain kids and promote others seems a littl...

Re: Former Fairland BOE member says "Vote No" on Stadium Levy
Here's the problem with trying to get a new levy passed. People were on board with the first levy that built the high school and updated the other schools. But there was a substantial surplus of that money left that the Board has "reserved for the budget". I've attended several board meeti...

In fact, if you look at the times that green and white posts, you can see just how he spends his school day.

Re: Week 9- Fairland @ Chesapeake
I was a Wilcoxen supporter. As a parent, I found his work ethic and devotion to the program a nice change. I repeatedly read posts throughout each season from people who didn't really have a dog in the fight but liked to make fun of the way the team practiced, what they were wearing, etc. I sat thro...

Hatfield steps up every game and plays hard all four quarters - on both sides of the ball.

Re: WK3 (1-0) Sheldon-Clark, Ky @ (0-2) Fairland
I think the term "homer" means that you are one of the good ole boys that was all for the staff changes at Fairland this year. Most of your posts last season were negative toward Wilcoxen and his staff and you seemed pretty confident that Snyder and crew would bring this program back to it...

Re: OVC PREDICTIONS
Actually, I probably do know you. I've followed Fairland sports for several years. I also know Lamb and most of his former teammates which is how I know the remarks you post are personal and not the opinion of the entire team. I think your time would be better spent concentrating on your job this se...

Re: OVC PREDICTIONS
They had no depth at any position and not much size so they were limited as to what they could run. The spread offense was great for the talent Fairland's had the last couple of years but they were short on players and size on defense. If someone got hurt on either side of the ball it left a huge ho...

Re: OVC PREDICTIONS
You couldn't defend him Boy. And I seriously doubt you could block, tackle, or juke him either. You're in for a long season - maybe even two if you don't learn how to spell.

Re: OVC PREDICTIONS
"Boy" you seem to have some sort of personal problem with Lamb. I keep reading all your negative comments on this forum and the basketball forum and I've got to wonder what your problem is? Since Lamb's received numerous conference and state awards, has started in both football and basketb...

Re: Fairland Football Coach ?
What happened to the field during the in-between years when Snyder wasn't coaching? He's been the AD for several years hasn't he? Hopefully some attention will be given to other areas such as the locker room, bathrooms, and concession stands.

Re: Fairland Football Coach ?
Usually, your numbers are big starting out and then drop off after pads and two a days not the other way around. Are you saying 20 kids are on vacation at the same time? And why all the stadium upgrades now? The stadium has needed improvements for years and nothing's been done. Now all of the sudden...

Re: Fairland Football Coach ?
Had other offers. Loves to coach. Likes the kids. Gas is $4.00 plus a gallon. His own kids are in this district. Besides, I'm sure that in true Fairland fashion, he will be head coach again sometime in the future. Just ask the old, I mean new, basketball coach.

Re: Fairland Football Coach ?
Since only one kid appears to have transferred I'll assume you're talking about Lamb. Time will tell whether he blends in or stands out but either way, his decision is none of your business. From what I hear, he's gotten nothing but a show of support from the community (including teachers and coache...

Re: Fairland Football Coach ?
I don't think anyone is questioning whether Coach Snyder is a nice guy and I'm sure the issue with the letters wasn't intentional. That said, the coach is the primary person between a recruiter and the player. If the coach doesn't have the time or the initiative to help those kids trying for athleti...
