Re: Menu of Games for the Opening Week 11/27 - 11/30
I’ll let pfloyd recap them, but… Amanda Clearcreek 64, Huntington 62 New Hope 64, Wellston 46 Bexley 50, Logan Elm 48 (2OT) Zane Trace 51, Circleville 35 Circleville better improve or they will have a long season. Huge difference in discipline in this one. ZT might struggle to score at times, but t...

Game-High Scoring Leaders (24-25)
Who are some of the players who have put up the most points in a game so far this season? Probably should be for 25+ point performances, but anyone else? 37 - Kiannah Ingram (Logan Elm vs Southeastern, 11/26) 31 - Christian Thompson (Fairfield Union vs Logan Elm, 11/23) 30 - Milee Smith (Unioto vs H...

Re: Southeastern Football
You had a coach that was an. Alumni. Multiple kids coming through the system. A coach that understood the cyclical nature of a program like se. One that would have been there and had stability. Instead they are going to continue to have coaches that talent chase a good group and bandwagon a short t...

Can’t say names, but there were multiple former head coaches, at least one current head coach and a lot of interesting applicants from around the area too.
I was actually pleasantly surprised when I was told about some.

Re: Southeastern Football
biggest mistake se made was treating coach diehl like crap. they wont get out of their own way Not knowing the situation, but that was 13 seasons ago. They went to the playoffs thrice in that time with 2 undefeated seasons So, I’m sure it hurt in the foundational stuff, although SE hasn’t even been...

Re: SOSA Overtime Podcast - Episode 52 - Girls Basketball Conference Previews
A lot of time and energy went into the show, with most of us coming before our company’s announcement of covering the TVC, so it’s not fully discussed (as evident by the time stamps), but we did shoutout Athens, Fed Hocking and Waterford a little bit before the SVC segment.

Re: TVC hocking predictions?
This place is ridiculous.
I’ll take the team that won the league, district, region and finished as State Runner-Up with 4 returning starters to win the league
But, that bench player who played 6 of the 64 minutes at last year’s state tournament quitting could destroy the team. So, I may be wrong.

Re: OHSAA Basketball Postseason Will Return to Fairgrounds Coliseum
I really don’t enjoy watching games at the Fairgrounds. You’re low and far away from the action. I understand why they would go back, with its history and $10-15 parking, but unless a local is playing, I’ll probably avoid it. The Barn isn’t what it used to be. For the Central District, though, it’s...

TJ Carper. Remember, you heard it here first. He’ll be driving past it each day! This is a really tough job, I’m not sure it’s a 4-41 in 5 seasons tough job, but it’s a very tough job. I said in another post of how Huntington and Westfall were able to score good, young coaches in tough situations s...
