Casey Sanders to West Virgina Wesleyan!!
Casey Sanders 6'5" 285lb offensive tackle signed with West Virgina Wesleyan on a academic/athletic scholarship. WVW is returning form a 9-2 season and missed the NCAA D2 playoffs by a very slim margin. I think WVW has added a very smart, athletic, dedicated, and skilled player. Congratulations....

Re: TROJANS OFFENSE IN 2010
I agree with all the state predictions. This team is talented. Offensively we have a ton of weapons at our disposal. Defensively every thing i hear keeps getting better. Sanders and Howard will both be on the defensive side of the ball. Which in my opinion eliminates pretty much all middle runs. Tho...

Re: TROJANS IN 2010 ON OFFENSE
what do you guys think about portsmouth running the wildcat with royster?? im no football coach by any means but it sounds like a good idea to me. It would reduce the hits on myers and royster has some explosive speed to cut through the middle or round the corner. i noticed last year if royster got ...

Re: Portsmouth 6-3 @ Western Brown 4-5
i believe they can stop people. They only game they couldnt stop anyone was Wheelersburg which was a total melt down. Look what they did week 2 against west. granted they didn't full out stop Trevon Penelton but they contained him quite well.

Re: Rival Portsmouth 5-2 @ Ironton 5-2
i agree Portsmouth must do EVERYTHING right. I think if we can put together long time consuming drives and keep Irontons offense off the field we have a good shot. We need to keep it close and put ourselves in a position to score at the end of the game. GO TROJANS!!!

It seems Casey Sanders is true asset to this team. He brings so much emotion and energy that it rubs off on the rest of the team. He makes others want to play there best.

i think if portsmouth plays like they did last week they will win hands down. the only game i see them losing the rest of the year is ironton.

Re: Week 5 Portsmouth @ Chillicothe
im taking portsmouth 28 to 14. The offense is improving. The offense line is playing much better this year and the defense really stepped up in the second half last week against Jackson. If they continue to play hard i think they take chilly by a lot more then people think. Portsmouth has the talent...

Re: 2009 SEOAL Previews: Portsmouth Trojans
I think Sanders is taking the D-end position. He played 3 solid games there at the beginning of the season and then was benched for Nate Cadoghan. fail

Re: Portsmouth Trojans 09
I think Portsmouth's defense will be alot better then last year. With Sanders and James at d-end and Howard at DT the running game will be stopped and quarterbacks better get rid of the ball quick with James coming off the side. The DB's will be solid with most returning if not all. I would like to ...

Re: Siders vs. Trojans
Portsmouth's offensive line and defense have to step it up. There are a lot of kinds who could play both ways that dont. I believe is Portsmouth plays the best 11 guys instead of the best 22 (referring to your D1 recruits who only played one way) there will be a huge difference from last year. All t...
