Meigs won 2-1. Wellston had a chance to win with bases loaded and two outs but just couldn't get the run in.

Wat does everyone think. Whoever wins this will have control of the TVC IMO.

Junior Matt Lockard from Wellston is going to be really tough at shortstop. Also, Sophomore Jeff Matteson will bring the heat on the mound. Look for these two to lead the team into yet another TVC title hunt.

According the the latest AP poll, the Shermans are ranked #12 in D2. I guess they aren't doing that bad considering their below par record!

Wellston is always good at baseball. They will compete, like always, for the league title this year.

If I remember correctly, VC came into Wellston last year with an undefeated record and only won by about 10. The game was tied at halftime and close in the early fourth. So, with that, you never know. I do know that this will be hard faught and played with a lot of heart and emotion.
