Re: Dave Barry on Getting a Colonoscopy
Hmmmmmmm I have one of these gems scheduled pretty soon. I got the little pills you take now though. I'm looking so forward to this moving experience. dazed%confused, that's nothing compared to having your urethra dilated. Now, there's you a good time there! Nah, too easy. However, once they remove...

Re: Prayer Request
While the injury in itself was what took her life, she also has had Alzheimer's for a good while. If any has ever dealt with a loved one suffering from this, you know that in itself takes a toll on family members giving it their best to be the caregiver. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appre...

Prayer Request
Please pray for fightingtigers45 (and family). His grandmother passed away Thanksgiving night of complications from a fall that caused a massive brain injury. No time is a good time to deal with the death of someone we love, but the holiday season is particularly hard. He will truly appreciate your ...

Re: Is it right to kick a player off a team for this reason..
From the story I hear, the student in question was NOT told he would not be playing this year. He did try out and did get cut. He got into arguments with coaches at open gym, even wanting to fight them..from what I hear. There's obviously more to the story than the first post presents.

If it's who I think it is, this for sure has not been the first time. Just the last. And if it's who I think it is, he's been given more than one chance the last couple of years.

While Bread was my first...December 1978, I also went to this same Billy Joel concert and to this day, the best concert ever. Tim and Faith rank a really close second however!

Not sure if this is a common thing with this surgery, but he had to have 2 units of blood yesterday. Hard to see h...

Re: Remember October is Breast Cancer awareness month
My mother died from breast cancer whenever I was 13. That was many years ago and I still remember what a horrible experience chemotherapy was and still is for those who have to go through it. I have mammograms every year, faithfully, and by the grace of God maybe I never will have to endure that. A...

Re: Prayers please for my brother
Thanks to everyone for their prayers. He is out of surgery and did really well. On top of the 3 they knew were 100% blocked, Dr.Nores also found 2 arteries that were 100% blocked that did not show up when they did the heart cath. We're just relieved it's over...now comes the fun part of keeping him ...

Prayers please for my brother
He is 48 years old and is facing 5-bypass heart surgery on Tuesday morning. The surgeon told him this morning that he has significant heart disease for someone his age. Three of his arteries are 100% blocked. Obviously, he is very nervous and scared. I would appreciate prayers from all of you kind p...

I'm thinking it was because he played as a freshman at Rose Hill, then again as one at NCH? Same age as OJ, but a grade ahead until then.

Yeah, you may be right on that. One reason or another he left because he had no more eligibility left in Ohio.
